After sharing the intimate accounts of how he was abused as a child, Coles has been playing truly inspired football. All heart and soul and a proud Jet to boot.

And the play? Sheer guts and will

He has proven over and over again that he want's it more then anyone else on the field.

As opposed to the proto typical stand out wide receiver who’s attitude sometimes detracts from their talent , Cole's perspective on life and thus football translates in a positive way on the field .

LC is the mother******* man. That TD run was amazing, the first down he picked up late in the game was also a great play. He has all the tools you could want in a #1 receiver except maybe the ability to get the jump ball.

He deserves a standing ovation next home game

I concur, a standing ovation would be in order.

I have always noticed Cole's in-ordinary will compared with his talent.

His desire to succeed is almost inhuman and maybe fashioned out of necessity through the horrors of his youth.

The second to last guy on the 8 yard line he just bulled over on sheer determination. I would have loved to see Ray Lewis, Sean Taylor Etc. attempt to make that tackle.

^I have a Nugent jersey. Replica, not authentic. I got it last season at Traning Camp (in the little Models tent). I got it the day they recieved the Ty Law jerseys, which I also got, waste of $ on that one eh'?

But anywho, Coles is THE MAN. He's playing great football so far this season.

best thing is, i lent my old one to my buddy to go to a game with me back in like 2002. i found out he still had it, so i didn't even have to buy a new one.

    I salute you!

I wore mine last week at Shea, and I had the game on a mini-tv that I brought, as I didn't care to watch the Mets. I was ashamed when people came up and shook their head at my jersey and said "Nugent man...." But we won, so it's all better now.
