i hear u bro. My bad. I usually feel the same way about the negative posts but I just see that as being a tough game. Man I pray I am wrong but Brees does scare me. But ur right about the general negativity. I am just not one of those darksiders man.
I would 100% take 4-3 and being close in the other NE loss too. It's definitely better than I thought and the backend easy part of schedule still looks "easy". I didn't think we would be 4-3, definitely thought we would be worse. It's good that the Jets are finding a way to win, albeit really close wins (2 points, 2 points, 3 points, 7 points), and in a rebuilding year
Absolutely I would have signed up. It's if we lost this game and the ATL game, and won the Titans and Steelers game..
Given our brutal schedule I did not think there was much of a chance we would be better than 2-7 at the break, But wow if we end up 4-5 at the break that is a great accomplishment. If we can somehow get to 5-4 at the break we are a legitimate contender especially considering our 2nd half schedule. Two big wins no one gave us a chance against the Falcons and Pats has really turned our season around.
I think you're right. Seeing as we live and die by our electric, yet inexperienced, rookie QB, the menace that is the Bengals defensive line is going to cause some problems. Geno is going to be rushed and forced to make quick decisions, I'd honestly expect a Steelers-esq type of game. The Saints on the other hand I can see playing out like the Falcons game. They'll move the ball on us through the air but we'll also be able to move the ball on them through the air AND on the ground. We can dictate the pace of that game much easier.
Not 100%. Have we lost at home? We've also been beating the 2 NFC teams we have played. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk - now Free
no prob man you're one of the good guys. It just irks me (it irks you too) when 'TGG fans' spend more time analyzing our weaknesses and trying to think of 1000 ways we're gonna get killed rather than looking at our strengths and talking about ways we might actually win.
I sure as hell would take that. I came into this season expecting very minimal, so all of this is gravy. It's terrific to see this defensive line coming together while still so young.
There's a lot to be excited about with this team. Not just this year, but especially next season considering all the draft picks we have. With how terrible TB has been, we're gonna have 3 picks in the top 75.
You really need to reread some of your posts on the game thread, Toon. Starting at the time of Smith's pick six you were right up there with Revis24, Future and CMan competing for today's Debbie Downer Award.
Woah, take off the homer glasses bro. The game was over long before that. We had no chance and if you couldn't see it, you're just living in a dream world.
Hopefully the talk of Rex getting fired mid season will now be over with. I look forward to the presser where Idzik extends him. Big time.
Yea if Graham is out for NO, Im not sure about his injury, then we have a good shot. They are no where near the team they are at home on the road. Their D is playing well but who knows Rob better than Rex. Their D is improved and can give our O a tough time but they aren't a top end defense by any means. Their offense is good but manageable if we are at home. Tough team for sure but with a couple things going right we can find a way to win. Today shows us that.
