IMHO Special kudos are deserving today to both our consistent stars and some pleasant surprises A) a+++++ games - Kerley, MoWilks, Ivory, Geno and special mention to the whole D line B) Pleasant surprise - welcome to the NYJ Nelson and Cribbs C) on the rise - Cumberland is developing nicely...and it's just a few moves away from becoming a real go to guy. Hold on to the ball on those tough throws and he will be a force. Same with Allen...tough game against One if not the best TE in Gronk D) steady contributor - Davis is more than holding his own in the LB position. We might be one OLB away from a great line up
Yup, thumbs up to your post. I'm loving Cribbs and Nelson. I hope we can keep them. I'd love to keep Cribbs over Clyde Gates any day. You could just tell Cribbs moved better than Gates.
I thought Allen did an ok job on Gronk. He got beat a few times but played him tough for the most part. I agree on Cumberland as he's more athletic than given credit for. An OLB who can rush the QB and an outside deep threat WR who can stretch the field are what this team needs.
Anybody watch Cro closely? I don't remember seeing him on the screen more than a few times which is a very good sign for a corner.
Can't say enough about Davis. Going from an old, slow Scott to Davis is a huge part of why this defense is playing so well.
