You never know Junc. Matt Simms just might get that opportunity from some other team. Kurt Warner profited by taking a leap of faith. So did Warren Moon. Tebow is too stubborn to walk that path. I'd like to think Simms isn't that stupid.

Warner didn't go to SL to start, he got his chance b/c Trent Green got injured. SL thought heir season was over when Green got hurt. The best chance(and probably only chance) for Simms to get a chance is the same way, have the starter get hurt.

Warren Moon was a product of racism that kept him out of the league and made him go to Canada.

Tebow is a completely different story, he can play in this league just not at QB and he is too stubborn to change positions.

Eh. Not a big deal. If we lost Geno our season would be over anyway.

do you do anything but follow me around looking like a buffoon? Maybe if you brought a valid point to an argument rather than just act like a child I might change my position. The problem is I know this game and you don't so you deflect from lack of knowledge.

Just stop w/ this nonsense and talk football. If you can't that's ok, watch other people who can.

    Of course I follow you.

I'm putting together a collection of your musings.
It's about a delusional office worker who sits in a drab cubicle all day and fantasizes that he actually knows football.

It might be Simms released instead of Quinn when and if Garrard gets activated to the roster. You never know. Many reports said Quinn had a pretty good camp in Seattle. He was the odd man out vs. Tarvaris Jackson because he is a better fit in that offense to backup Wilson as both are similar in style and mobility. Seattle decided to go younger and cheaper and develop a rookie as thier #3 guy instead of a more expensive veteran in Quinn.

Garrard could be a good coach, but playing days are over.

I thought Garrard wasn't healthy enough to play in the spring after two years off? I guess he's just our current version of Mark Brunell?

Probably most people know him from the A.J Duhe Mud Bowl, or the guy who beat up Serby.

The same way we've put our trust in a starting rookie QB who's never played b-4 either...

That QB was drafted to start and took a ton of reps w/ the 1s this summer. This guy is an UDFA who couldn't succeed in college and his experience is as a scout team QB for us and playing vs. guys out of the league in preseason.

I'm not saying he can't play in this league but I will be surprised if he ever starts a game(barring injuries of course) in this league.
