Listen, no need to panic. Let's be honest the pats beat us in the trenches. But look at all of the positives: -Chad had another great game _ Coles displayed his talent -Cotchery made one hell of a play with his awareness -We can take out our aggression next week on buffalp:buffaloblows:
I mean honestly....I dodn't think the jets would win, I was just looking for a decent enough competetion and improvements
to add to the list, -Team showed it will not quit this year -Another week of big hits, another week of Chad dusting himself off and calling the next play -We may be looking at a 7 or maybe even 8 win team this year. Maybe a little premature but this is exactly the year we need to build for a playoff run next year
anyone that thinks buffalo blows needs to study some game film. their D has been flat out nasty the past 2 weeks. we can win, but we will need to play our A game
This is true, but if our defense gives up much of anything to their atrocious offense, then we should be ashamed.
Very nice comeback. For us to win games all we have to do is play with the same intensity throughout the entire game, not just in the 2nd half. And of course a running game would help too, start houston and split his carries with washington.
O line will take some time to gel and you can't expect it to be solid right now. Progress will come in fits and starts. Everyone said we have no playmakers and Cotch and Coles have made a handful of big plays so far and we have yet to see Smith sprinkled in yet. The O-line can pass protect but we will need the running game eventually. Get to the 8 game mark at 4-4 and then lets see what we got.
This game is a positive with a win next week. 2-1 going into two very tough games (Colts, Jax). (I personally think that Jax is overrated -- except for the fact that they seem to win a lot.).
I agree with you completely, especially on the point that we got beat in the trenches... Next offseason the Jets need to address their two HUGE (literally needs)... they need some BIG linemen in their, on both sides of the ball... I'm sorry, but this will plague us all year that we have a generally small line compared to the rest of the league. Look how nasty teams with big lineman are, for instance John Henderson and Marcus Stroud of the Jaguars. The second is the running game... no need for an explanation there.
