Awful video, apologies, only one I could find, still haven't figured out how to embed a youtube video on GG.

Brett Favre 6 TD passes against the Cards. Too bad they were wearing the Titans throwbacks.

One of probably the 10 most enjoyable games I've been to in 12 years as a STH and 30 years of going to Jet games.

Man Lav Coles was a good player for us. That whole Redskin thing still ticks me off, then trading Moss to get him back? WTF?!?

One of the most blah wins in Jets history. The titans throwbacks made the Jets unrecognizable. Plus the Mets just lost to the Marlins in the last game at Shea to eliminate them. The crowd was very late arriving and morose.

Can't believe this was five years ago. I went to the Mets game friday night, winded up in the precinct in Queens (I blame it on the Mets), got out of the precinct while Santana was pitching his master piece, got home after the game was over and went to sleep, woke up and went to this game. Only regret was the Jets were wearing the Titans uniforms. And the precinct I guess too.
    Ah time flies.

I was at the Mets game in Johan's only September game for the Mets on Saturday and that Sunday I was sitting in a suite box for the Jets game. Great games. I always forget we had Bubba Franks. lol.

I remember when we were about 8-3 folks were seriously talking about a Jet- Giant Superbowl.

Once Favre injured his shoulder we were done.

This is one of 4 games Ive missed since 2001. Go figure, an absolute shootout. Was probably fun to watch. Mangini's pass D's were always leaky as hell.

Yup 8-3, big road victory over the Titans. The only team at the time that felt like a threat was the Steelers. The Steelers obviously went on to win the Super Bowl but if Favre was healthy the playoffs would have been completely different.

That Steelers team ended up playing an 8-8 Chargers team, a 6 seeded Ravens team, and a 9-7 Cardinals team in the Bowl. That could have easily been us in there shoes.

Still remembering beating the 10-0 Titans than we went to Foxborough and beat the pats. Then lose 5 of 6

If Favre stays healthy there isn't a doubt in my mind that the Jets don't win the SB that year.

Just for fun this is what the postseason might've looked like if the Jets didn't fall apart.

    1. Titans
    2. Jets

    3. Steelers
    4. Chargers
    5. Colts
    6. Ravens

    Wildcard

    3. Steelers vs 6. Ravens
    4. Chargers vs 5. Colts

    Divisional

    1. Titans vs 4. Chargers
    2. Jets vs 3. Steelers

I think we matchup well against any of those remaining teams that year. The only teams I would've really been worried about were the Colts and Ravens and both of those teams are eliminated.

Not only that, but had we had Favre for the 2009 and 2010 seasons, there's a good chance we win a SB one of those years, most likely the 09 season.

I don't think Favre would ever have come here if 2009 and 2010 were even possibilities with the Jets.

He tanked that 2008 season and fake retired until the Jets drafted and signed a 1st round QB for big money, then unretired and forced then to release him because they would be easy over the cap.

That entire offseason seemed preconceived as hell.
