Thanks for the Woody quotes, but what the fuck does he know? He only played for the guy. Guys around here watch ESPN, read Manish and Cimini, and listen to Francessa. They know what's up.

The Jets are not a very talented group in case you haven't noticed. Currently they are 2-1. What do all you Rex haters think they would be if he wasn't here running the defense? I don't know what the record will be at the end of the year but I will ask the same question then. The so called experts thought the Jets wouldn't win more than 3 games and as mush as they are Jets haters they probably made those predictions based on the lack of talent we have. We lost 7 starters on defense and another 6 on offense yet here we are sitting at 2-1 and the future is looking brighter.

Because Rex guaranteed an SB and didn't deliver and now he must be burned at the stake and his charred corpse put through a wood chipper be fore everyone who was butt-hurt about it is happy again.

    +1

Good Idea. It was time for a change.

Truly an honor of the highest order. I am humbled and a bit weepy.

Here's the thing. We could be 3-0 or 0-3, and I'm sure people will argue that we've been lucky, playing shitty teams, blah blah blah. What I see with this team is that they are playing hard and they are fighting. Despite having huge talent holes, we've been in every single game. That fact alone has exceeded my expectations, and that is a credit to the coaching staff.

So go ahead and niggle Rex about this decision or that decision (you want him fired because he unsuccessfully challenged a spot? Seriously?), but I see a team that is playing hard. They still believe in their coach and that's the most important thing.

So Fox reports that, as he did in 2010, Rex has put the Push Up Plan into effect to cut down on penalties. The twist is that the OFFENDERS stand and watch everyone else, including Woody and the coaches do the "poosh-em-ups". I like it.

    Yes the challenges were dumb.

Yes, the Jets were sloppy with the penalties.

Yes, Jets have a top 5 defense that has them in every game.

Yes, Jets as a team were more ready to play than the Bills.

SOJF's can find clouds in Death Valley--go root for the Giants!

oh boy...lol...you think thats where us disagreeing with Rex comes from? Listen, if you are ok with the amount of mistakes he has made this year from timeouts...challenges etc...then who is being led blindly.

For the final time...I LOVE REX...I want him to succeed. He needs some big time help because he easily could have cost us 2 wins this year with mistakes.

So cut the bullshit about the people that are pointing out BIG mistakes as being blind or followers...because the same can be said for your argument.

When it happens in a playoff game it won't be so niggling. It's an issue that needs to be addressed.

This challenge fiasco reminds me of when Herm was coaching (I think it was Herm) and didn't know how to use timeouts so they hired a consultant for the sidelines to help. Sometimes I wonder how such stupidity happens to "professionals".

Rex guaranteed his team would be chilling with Obama (smoking cigs and playing hoops?) at the White House. I think 2013 is his last year to make good on his boast. I'm in.

and in Rexs defense, Herm brought nothing to the table..no philosophy...no strength on either side of the ball...he was the ultimate cheerleader and that sometimes can work in the short term for a team...but he brought nothing to the table.

Rex does know defense and that cant be denied. All Im saying is that he needs big time help in game management and incredibly, with everything he has been through, could lead to his ultimate demise.

Now if people want to keep shouting out his record...which is a great start all agree...and screaming about him being a defensive genius...which not many have denied...and blindly not admit that he is having a terrible start to the season with game management decisions, lets agree to disagree.

He has a very good defense and a few weapons on offense that could create enough scoring to surprise this year. If you are going to control everything about the defense during the game now...get help..plain and simple.

Hopefully Rex gets the five year extension he clearly deserves before the bye. Best or at worst second best Jet HC since 1960

Rex has been making the team do push ups.Due to the 20 penaltys if one person makes a mistake in practice the whole team has to due 10 push ups.Belive it or not this is a tried n true method in the league.I guess will find out Sunday how it worked

Herm knew nothing about X's and Os but the man was a great motivator. That's it though.
