Big shout out to damon harrison who is drawing double teams, freeing up richardson and wilkerson. also, anyone else notice how barnes is constantly in the qb's face?

Wilkerson is a beast. He's gonna get 10 sacks this year IMO.

It was not just the end of last year, but all season. He got very little positive press because the rest of the team was such a mess. PFF ran a piece on him early on saying he rated out as the #2 5 tech in the league and he has only gotten better since then. This is a young Richard Seymour we have on our hands. Love the kid.

I would not expect huge numbers from any one player along our front. What we have set up is a pick your poison type of situation. You have to leave at least one of Coples, Richardson, or Wilk single blocked. The numbers will be spread out, but the pressure is obvious all game long. The entire front is a joy to watch right now.

That would even be better. Wilkerson might be a pro bowler this year.

So much different than a year ago when we had Devito, Puhua, and Wilkerson up front.

You can't double them all! Mo Wilk can get doubled but then you leave snacks or Ellis one on one and they are simply winning battles more then not. Richardson is so athletic and everywhere that they have him play short middle in zone sometimes! He's also hard to stop. Then add Coples now and even douzable has been playing well. I love this d line!

This is the key for a team coming off a terrible year.

The draft picks must make an immediate impact.

In the past, the Jets have wasted draft picks on "projects".

The key is staying healthy.. Injuries are the only thing that can bring this group down. The sky is the limit. Love what I am seeing.

Absolute beast. What makes him so great is that not only can he rush the passer, he shuts down the run as well.

Him, Sheldon, Coples, and Snacks are gonna be so fun to watch for a long time.

I don't care too much for the Pro Bowl, but he was snubbed last year.

Well, technically you can. You just throw a blocking TE into the mix and pray none of the four LBs notice that the only body between them and the QB is an RB or FB. ;)

    And I absolutely hated it.

Not because I hated Revis - I loved watching him play.
Just, it is my belief that the standard bearer of any good defense must come from the front seven.

Wilk will be a damn fine DL for years to come - and with Big Snacks, Richardson AND Coples, you can rest assured this DL will create a lot of mess from the opposing offense.

the 'd' is like a vice grip. squeezing and squeezing. occasionally they've let a guy pop out and break off a run or run after catch. but mainly it's python-esque. loving it. and they seem to not mind coming back on after short offensive series. i get a sense that they bounce back up and say 'let's do it again'.
