That win was at home. We lost later in the year to them up at Gillette. The air raid sirens were blaring like a mother fucker at the old stadium and rex called all the STH to have them cheer their asses off

Cheers. Good put. Are there any good sport Jet bars in Vegas? I have a house in Summerlin. May be we our paths will cross as we cheer for a Jet win.

    anti-New York

he's so cool they push him to say things and take his laid back personality as a lack of leadership or interest

even Semen A. Smith gets on the kid for no reason

Geno is never rattled and I love that

He's also all about the team

Yup, I was thinking exactly this. It's a very similar situation, only the Pats have less play makers outside of the QB position and the game is in NE rather than at home. Rookie QB and a beastly defense vs Brady and his good offensive line. I could see a very similar result. No Revis, however and Brady was coming off a season ending injury as well at the time, so we'll see. If the Jets can beat the Patriots at any time of year, now is the time. It's just too bad Kerley will be out. It's alright though, I have a feeling we'll see some Holmes magic in this one.

But the REAL question is, was Geno studying video tape of McCourty? :)

Yeah I fucked that post up, I meant THIS game is at Foxboro - completely different element then Sanchez at home with a better defense.

The D line and LB's have to get their arms up to deflect passes or at least interfere with the line of sight for the pass. That's what frustrates QB (Including Brady) most.
I've been preaching that so long it hurts. Count, 1-2-3-disengage and get your arms up!
Now everyone that watches JC Watts has jumped on the band wagon and realizes how effective it is. Yes, he's also super strong and fast.

It's going to be tough to work today...a W in New England would make the playoffs a distinct possibility, but an L would just give all the pundits a reason to say ,"i told you so."

I'm sure I'm not the only one, but when the jets give me any glimmer of hope my mind starts running wild with possibilities...

Yeah and it would be nice if they didn't let us down. They haven't always but when fans are super confident they end up letting us down.

I just hope the game is as exciting as New England 1 last year

Also we're 3-0 when we are even or ahead in the turnover battle

We are missing our best pure pash rusher and our top wide receiver target. Cant use the banged up excuse on either side.

The Pats have been decimated by injuries early on - similar to the Jets last year. I never like when people use it as an excuse, but the Jets have only been mildly affected by injuries so far compared to NE.

In any case, no excuses, I hope we stomp them into the ground but just saying...

Like I said two of our best players are hurt. 3 of their best players are hurt. So its not an excuse for them.

Yeah, I can't wait for Coples to get back. He is going to be like a kid in a candy store with this front line.
