Does anyone know the latest on Cumberland's status?

If he's going to be out for Thursday, which I wouldn't be surprised if he is, KW2 has got to step it up again and have a big game.

I heard he received stitches on his chin. Hopefully no concussion.

Didn't Winslow pretty much take over the TE spot after he left? Can't see them not letting him keep it.

Are you sure about that? A few people on this forum said they saw him on the field in the second half, and I specifically remember Lynch talking about how Cumberland had returned to the game.

This is a short week so I am sure Rex will be letting us know a lot sooner who is hurt.

I didn't see him in the 2nd half, but admittedly I might have missed him. Usually he gets at least a few targets when he's in. That hit was ridiculous though and could have destroyed him. I hate seeing defenders make hits like that and the announcers try to back the defensive player when it's clearly helmet to helmet. Then in another game they see it and take the side of the guy who got hit. It's so silly. Those announcers were incompitent at best although they were still miles better than Buck & Aikmen.

He definitely was back in the second half, but I am not sure how many times he saw the field.

Classic Cumberland discussion here. Was he in the game or not? Anybody's guess.

Cumberland did return to the game. I remember that for sure. As for next week we will see but I think he will be back on the field.

Cumberland will probably still get some plays on Thursday if he's healthy. Winslow did a great job yesterday helping Geno out

 love the way you worded it. Cracking up on my break, gold stuff..

I was very happy with how Winslow played. I think he should get more route time than Cumby, especially with the chemistry that has become clear. Now blocking...I'm not sure. It seemed Cumberland was the better blocker, but he didn't play a ton. So it's hard to give a real opinion.
