What was the point of getting him?

Is he the one they released to make room for Wade Smith?

I would be more upset if Baker didn't look so good in the opener. I think the Jets feel Baker can be their pass catching TE and Ryan may be a better blocker than Hilton.

    Shame. I liked him.

Geez Tang-ini does not mess around. Player movement every day.

Sean Ryan is probably a beast blocker...he made a nice grab last week too, to bad he didn't hold on to the ball.

I dont mind sean ryan as long as we never throw him the ball ever ever ever again.

In all fairness, afterwatching that play again he seems to catch the ball with VERY soft hands... something we dont have much of at the TE position, and he DID tuck it away in the proper 'football' manner. I think it was just a great, fluke hit on the ball. MORE than willing to see if his hands are that good again.

Come on, man, he's a young player that had the ball jarred loose by one of the best and hardest hitting linebackers in the league.

I remember seeing a highlight clip of a young John Lynch getting juked out of his cleats by Barry Sanders. That didn't make him a bum.

Plus he was looking for the extra yards...Becht would have fallen over with the sheer force of the pass
