Find where I said "no other talent" or "no talent" and I will give you a life sized Mark Sanchez blowup doll Yeah, that's what I thought. Try reading better next time and get back to me.
I don't think this matchup is a gimme either way. Historically even when one team is clearly better it is usually a dogfight. And I don't think the Phins are "clearly" better. I think they would be considered arguably better by most, but that has more to do with perception than anything.
The Dolphins looked ugly last night. The OL appears to be a serious weakness. And the DL did not look good stopping the run but a lot of starters weren't playing. I think Jets vs Dolphins comes down to the Dolphins O-Line, Ryan Tannehill and whomever the Jets QB is. If the OL gels, Tannehill plays well and the Jets keep Sanchez as the starter I feel pretty good for the Dolphins. If the OL plays the way I fear it will and the Jets make the smart move and go to Geno Smith then it could get ugly for the Dolphins. There are so many questions on the Dolphins right now. They could go anywhere from 4-12 to 12-4. My hope is at least 9-7 this year. And I think that's feasible.
what sucks is we finish playing the patriots by week 7. but dont play the dolphins till december week 13....
There is a good chance the Dolphins are out the playoff hunt by then but playing fairly well. Should be good games. Playing later in the year benefits the Jets though. You don't have to play in Miami in September and the Dolphins have to come north in December. Huge advantage.
If the phins oline looks as bad as they did against Dallas I'm not worried about the Jets at all. They will get into the backfield and cause issues for Tannehill.
