 Another overreaction. Still, sounds like he had a rough day.

    Sanchez picked ... but:

    Dennis Waszak Jr.
Cro picks off Sanchez on throw that Obomanu couldn't hold onto #Jets.

Lol no, Geno, Mark, Simms or Mac no pick is acceptable unless its picked on 3rd and long on a deep attempt down the field

the first moment where i think even early assumptions can be made is the green and white scrimmage.

then we can say "and with a bad day here he lost his job" or the like, for either frankly.

I am not there, and have no idea what the ball placement was, but if the ball hits the receiver in the hands - its on HIM to catch it. I don't care who the QB is.

Geno Smith looked decent in team drills. Mark Sanchez struggled with an INT. Also had a TD and a dropped TD (Stephen Hill) #nyj

Yes everyone said Mark struggled ... but it looks alot better if Hill catches that TD ball & Obamanu catches the ball Cro picked.

That's why watching the games is important. Just looking at stats alone doesn't tell the whole story. As much as I despise Sanchez I wanna see how he looks playing out there. Can't solely go by numbers.

Yep. Maybe not even then. If Sanchez is great in the scrimmage, then looks terrible against the Lions, it all changes. Then he looks great against the Jaguars, etc. It is a long process. As long as a starting QB steps up by or during the Giants game, the team should be good headed into the season.

Personally I am rooting for them BOTH to look fantastic moving forward. Put the pressure on Rex & company to choose. In fact the better Sanchez looks the better ... I can't state that enough. We might need both guys this year, and if things break the way I know all of us hope - both would need to play at a high level.

I just can't figure out why so many people are rooting for Mark to fail. It does not benefit the Jets one bit, and as such doesn't benefit us as fans.

If Geno is named starter - great - fantastic - wonderful. But damn it I want Mark to look as good as possible - because a 7th round pick next offseason for him is better than cutting him for nothing.

Disclaimer ... only reason i mention that is the joy it seems some on here take when anything negative is tweeted about Sanchez.

Most people can't stomach much more of Sanchez. At least that's why I want him to fail. Mark isn't going to become tradeable by looking good in training camp but losing the competition to a 2nd round QB. That's a fantasy.

I hope Sanchez throws 2 INT's every day for the rest of camp and Geno continues to play solid.

Can't explain some Jets fans. I have seen many cheer against their own players for years. I will never understand it. The best possible thing for the franchise would be both QB's to be great, obviously. That is what I am cheering for. I want Sanchez to prove all the doubters wrong, same with Geno, as he has doubters of his own.

Funny I don't remember you projecting how much worse Sanchez's "stat line" would have looked if Winslow Jr. wasn't making spectacular shoe string catches on poorly thrown balls.

What is so difficult to understand about fans never wanting to see Sanchez take another snap for the Jets again? We are fans of the team and want the team to win. We don't think Sanchez is going to help with that. He and his gay headband are an embarrassment to the franchise.

Sanchez throws to WR Ben Obomanu cutting across the middle of the field. The ball is deflected up and CB Cromartie grabs it for an INT.

Funny I don't remember saying the ball thrown to Obamanu was perfect. I just said "if" the ball hits the receiver in the hands - its is his job to catch it. I have no idea if it did as I wasn't there (as I believe i stated).

I want us to develop Geno, a young QB, the right way for a change. I don't think this kid should be the starter regardless if he wins (unless it's just absolute, clear cut decision). If it's close at all, Suckchez should get the nod.

The offense is not there yet. Rebuild, get Geno some experience on certain series, or let him take over later in the season; depending. Make this kid hungry and build the foundation for Geno '14.

For now, keep the competition coming.
