My friend was kicked out of the stadium last year for dropping a golf ball down the spirals. They told him he is not banned. He wants to go to the game on sunday, do you think they have a way of knowing he is there? Or will he be fine just as long as he behaves?
I'm sure they aren't going to remember him, but just have him stick no a peyton manning sprint mustache.
It won't matter. I got kicked out for scalping tickets (selling $80 tickets or whatever they are for half the price is apparently illegal within a certain distance of the stadium), and I ended up going back into the game, and I went to every other game that season.
unless they ID everyone that enters the stadium, and then goes through a list of all the banned people, i think he will be fine...there really isnt a way to stop these people from coming back to the games
I got kicked out of Yankee stadium for yelling "You Suck you front runner" at Jack Nicholson. I don't see it being possible for them to find you, unless you have season tickets, and they take them away.
They are a bunch of clowns there...not forgetting that security once killed a kid outside a Grateful Dead show....I am sure he will have no problem...what are they using...face recognition technology?...again..amatuer morons
They won't find you. They don't send attendants down to check. I mean, if you have season tickets in your name, maybe they will. Otherwise, they never would.
If he does something stupid and gets caught then he'll be charged with trespassing. I'm sure the have his name and everything but as long as he stays out of trouble, he'll be fine!
hmy: You have got to be kidding me. Dropping a golf ball down the spirals? for what damned reason do you get kicked out or banned for something as stupid as that? These idiots, these rent a cops having nothing better to do then to allow stupid crap like this giving them a reason to kickout anyone. If you sneeze your ejected. ZOFFINGER IS AN ARSE! I remember Joe Benigno on WFAN on the late nights and one of his callers got kicked out for blowing his whistle from the Jets opener against the Bengals two years ago. He's been doing that in the upper deck for a long time and one of the guards asked him to stop in the 1st quarter. He did so, then before the 3rd quarter started a bunch of them came after him and took him away with the whistle to the supervisiors office. They took his whistle and kicked him out of the stadium. FOR ABSOLUTLY NO REASON WHAT SO EVER! THE ONE GUARD ASKED HIM NICELY TO STOP, HE DID! THEN THEY GO AFTER HIM BEFORE THE 3RD QUARTER STARTS?! WHAT A BUNCH OF LOSERS! It's funny when they are patroling the parking lots last year trying to see if they could stop something and when real trouble begins they are no where to be found either in the parking lots or in the stadium. A bunch of egotistical arses who get paid too much money for being a bunch of over the hill high school playground bullies.
And if the golf ball had hit a little kid in the head, it easily would've injured him. His friend is an idiot. If someone did something like that and it hit my kid, security wouldn't have to worry about banning him!! What do you get out of doing something like that.
I agree that your friend is an idiot. Not for even considering to acknowledge such a stupid ban, but for throwing a golf ball in the first place. The "Spit Pits" are not for golf balls. They're for loose change, the occasional floating dollar bill, and to smoke joints around. When we were kids, one of my friends actually had the balls to go in there to try and gather the "loot". He did, and he also took a loogey shower. Those were the days...the salad days. Unless your friend was smuggling illegal contraband inside of it, there is absolutely no reason to bring a golf ball into the game. So maybe it wasn't the golf ball that got him "banned" afterall. Maybe it was just him...being an idiot. Repeat after me. Friends don't let friends throw golf balls into the Spit Pits. Smoke 'em if you got 'em...
Then this guy should explain himself better. Dropping a golf ball from my understanding is releasing it and it's rolling down the spirals, If his friend threw it at someone or he threw it in the middle of the spirals and the ricochet hits someone then he is an idiot for doing so. Then I will take it back. But it doesn't change my opinion of the dumb arses that are the security Gorillas that are suppose to "PROTECT" the fans.
I was once prevented from entering Giants Stadium in the first place. It was the offseason, 1989, I was wearing my Ken O'Brien shirt and I just wanted to have a quick look inside the stadium. The security guard wouldn't let me even stick my head in. I asked him if he was a Jets fan and he said, 'No, I'm a Steelers fan'. A Jets fan would have let me in.
