I remember Boucher...He had that look everytime on the bench, he also looks like he has a big ass scar around his face.

He took the Lightning to the Eastern Conf Finals but that goaltending and shitty defense was terrible. However his powerplay was off the charts

don' think anyone really thinks Avery was all that............I do think he underachieved. He could have been a much better player with more longevity if he wasn't so "eccentric"

I don't know that I want a scarface coach.......I'll never be able to watch pressers without cringing.

apparently a lot of you guys were right........looks like the players wrote Tort's ticket out the door.......they better put up now and prove to everyone that Torts was the problem, and not them.

Avery was a talented player but he is an utter cunt of a man, and he's very lucky that Dustin Brown didn't tear his arm and beat him to death with the soggy end.

Apparently Avery has a better finger on the pulse of the locker room than Callahan does ; )

Avery owns a bar downtown called Warren 77...Anyone go there? I think Lundqvist plays his guitar there sometimes

it doesnt make you a bad human being but Avery had good hands and was a very good skater. His talents were underrated if you ask me. If he wasnt so busy acting like an assclown, he could have bene a pretty good hockey player. A solid 3rd liner for sure....2nd line on some teams

It's a decent spot. Plenty of other places around that area if it's not your cup of tea.

I am hoping the Rangers make a bid for Gordon Bombay. Yes, I understand he was never the same coach after Hans died, but he did wonders with that Ducks organization.

If Coach Bombay can handle the Rangers the way he did his brother we should be favored to win the cup.

My fear is they may sign Goldberg as backup to Lundqvist which may present problems

I too see the same problem. It was clear Bombay always had a bit of a vendetta against Julie Gaffney. She is clearly the right choice for Hank's backup.
