Pretty wild game in Queens tonight, and it won't end until Saturday night.

And holy crap, 4 at bats for Ike and 4 Ks! He's got an OPS of .486, and it's below .425 with runners in scoring position! How much longer can this go on?

Sick of seeing Ike now , cannot understand wtf Collins is doing....sticks
Is with a .146 hitter and yet Valdespin , Lagares can't get much needed reps due to the stupidity if not moving Duda to first .

Also why lift Hefner??? Has Collins got in for Rice.....his shoulder will be fucked by June

Well, at this point we all know Collins is going to be out pretty soon. My question is, if the Mets lose over 100 games, does Sandy make it? I mean come on...for all this talk of on the right track, he hasn't made one good FA signing since he's been here. I understand he hasn't had much money, but he every mid/lower level guy he's signed as been awful. Why do we think he'll make the right decision when dealing with players who actually want a lot of money?

Also, and I have stated this before, the Mets have 7 players (on the current team or in the farm system) who should be on the team next season. How is this being on the right track?

That's why you use TWO hands to catch the ball hell that is first year Little league. Glove catches hand secures, love the media pukes defending him for not using two hands. If the were a Mets there would be five minutes of how the Mets need to work on fundamentals.

the Mets TV announcers obviously don't know much about Phil Hughes.

"Everyone is talking about how Robinson Cano is the player the Yankees have to sign, but what about Phil Hughes?"

Trust me, no one is thinking Hughes is someone the Yankees have to re-sign.

But because he's pitching well against the Mets...

The only way Hughes can be considered a good pitcher is if you think he's responsible for the great run support he gets (in other words, if you judge him by his win/loss record).

Brett Gardner just robbed Daniel Murphy of a 2 run homer.

    Hughes lucky again.

Was gonna go to all the games, but the tickets prices are really high. Seems higher than last subway series. A lot of empty seats. Maybe if they had more reasonable prices it wouldn't have been so empty? Just going to one this time around. So I opted to see the Matt Harvey pitched game.

I was at the game on Sunday night vs the Braves(bought in December when was schuedled to be a 1pm start time). Our tickets were section 107 row 23. They were amazing seats during Military Appreciation Night. We paid 65 per ticket. There were a ton of empty seats throughout the stadium not just the nose bleeds

5 at bats in the series for Ike, 5 Ks. Yeah, that game a few days ago really got him started.

    Enough already.

Absolutely horrific baserunning by Tejada in that inning.

And now Collins gets thrown out when Tejada was obviously out. What's the point? If it takes that to "fire the team up" it's just sad. What difference does it make if the umpire was first going to call safe and then made the obviously correct out call? Out is out.

IMO Collins has less than a month left.
