I htink theres also a very good chance that 75% of the team despises Torts because if you compare last year's effort to this year's, its night and day. Certainly a sign that they cant even stand to hear him speak anymore.

And that doesn't even address the collapsing that occurs once the opponent has possession, another major issue (something else Boston doesn't do.)

I'm pretty sure people just say the Rangers and Bruins are similar because they both strive to play physically. Philosophically on a broad level they have things in common. The way both coaches systematically go about that are quite opposite.

Cant stand the collapsing, it leads to 40 seconds of possession in our zone and the points are wide open

Chara absolutely dominated him. No shame in that Chara is amazing, especially against big forwards like Nash.

I thought Chara got exposed quite a few times in this series especially when we got physical with him

Pack Richards bags with Torts and send those guys out together.

FIRE MIKE SULLIVAN ASAP...This guy below is the biggest joke on this team, ruined our powerplay and made us a malignant offense.

Kreider was so good the last 2 games, those hits on Seidinberg were great...We just lack the overall skill and our injuries fucked us. I am disappointed that our guys Clowe and Staal couldnt return.

We literally gave little help to Lundqvist by letting shots get to him...That collapsing method of defense causes problems for Lundqvist when it blocks his vision. We could have been better and it was a real disappointment now that the season is over.

Now the long wait...We also have the full season to overcome

He was brutal for the Caps. I didn't really notice him in our series this year. Did he play?

Changing lines every other shift, Hamrlik was terrible, I would have tried Mcilrath, Bruins had 3 rookies playing and we had a 40 year old statue, your eyes weren't deceiving you 4 was horrible too talis

Still disagree with guys on Torts and the system. Their problem is was and has been depth all season. This system yiu all seem to despise so much has won them 3 series the last 2 years. I know a lot of people like to give hank all the credit for that. Bottom line is they lost to similar teams the last 2 years. Teams that were rolling 4 lines and 3 d pairs all series. Bruins 4th linewon this series. Rangers had injuries their depth could not overcome. Forecheck failed imho because too many minutes on 3 lines. Missing staal and stralman was huge. And an ineffective 4Th line did them in. I also dont believe these guys hatethe coach. Bottom line to me is the roster needs ti be filled out wuth the right role players, and obviously depth on d is an issue. All just my opinion of course.

Definitely have to develop a 4th line, have to roll 4 lines and 3 d pairs, stop wearing out your best players, especially during the regular season

Great. Another forum I'm on, Boston fans are bragging about how great the Bruins are and how they are so infinitely better than the Rangers, as if it was their skill that was the key to their victory instead of the Rangers playing like lazy assholes.

Sorry to tell you this, but they're right. Boston are the most complete team in the East. Pittsburgh have a ridiculous offense but their defense and goaltending are mediocre and they're reliant on refs buying their dives in order to put their PP to work. Other teams in the East are talented and might be good in the next couple of years, but right now no-one's close to the Bruins.

Most complete team? Their defense wasn't any good during the Rangers series. Their goalie wasn't very impressive either.

Penguins are going to average ~3.5 goals per game against the Bruins.
