They needed to do the 4th surgery anyway to remove the plate. This was known ahead of time.

There's a lot out there on the spine in particular. You won't have to look too hard to find it.

cool! i just never really even thought to look as i figured that it just over the last 10 years started being used and would take some time to see how much harm it causes. i didnt realize its been used for much longer than that.

the only things i have noticed are the large amount of tendon injuries that have occured in the past 10 years. it used to be once every few years you would see a guy tear his bicep or achilles now its like 5 or 10 of them a year it seems.

The Patriots offense will keep rolling with or without him anyway. Its looking like his career might become short lived, his injuries continue to pile up.

The Pats will obviously still be a top offensive team as long as Brady is around but this definitely hurts them no doubt about it along with losing Welker. I would hope the Phins would be able to snag one away from them while they are still figuring out the O. Unfortunately we don't play them until week 8

In other news, Jake Ballard looking good in OTA's....

Lots of snarky remarks when the Pats picked him off waivers, but it's looking like a pretty good move now...
