Does anyone know what the Jets' status is with Braylon Edwards? Are we going to wait until like week 15 again like last year or just get him on the roster ASAP for vet minimum? How much could it hurt to pick him up and why is Idzik waiting around if their intent is to pick him up eventually? We need WR depth! And if not we better make a move for another TE to create this so-called "competition" Idzik loves to preach for Cumberland.

Guessing they will evaluate the need at WR after a few of these OTA's. See what MM thinks about the group as a whole, and evaluate the youngsters.

I'd love to see Braylon get a shot this season. Don't think he deserves to be handed a spot blindly but I really believe he can rightly earn his roster spot if given the chance to prove it.

I agree 100% and considering our WR depth it shouldn't be hard for him to earn a spot.

He'll earn that spot easily as there basically is no competition there.

He has played for Rex, he has played for Sanjay (last year) and he has played for Idzik. They know what Braylon brings.

I was one that was pulling for the Jets to sign Braylon instead of Holmes, and I was very excited a year ago when we brought him back. I want him on the team, but at this point if they don't do it - its going to be based upon actual knowledge of the player.

Braylon was unstoppable in his 2nd year for the Jets, just throw the ball deep, a very good #2. Hopefully Hill can turn into some decent Edwards type, that would be awesome.

Kerley is a ok #3 but can really turn into a very good one.

We are still (can't believe I am still saying this) waiting on a #1, has to be priority draft need next year.

If Hill can be a good #2 and Kerley can only get beter at #3, draft a #1 next year, the Jets will then have a very formatable WR corps, Hill has to improve to make it happen.

Hopefully one of the UDAs steps it up and we catch lightning in a bottle. I'd be all about bringing someone in, though. Don't we still have like 6 million in cap space? I kinda liked Jordan White last year in TC.

I know! Lets make a Bring back Braylon billboard!!

    #10 - Santonio Holmes
    #11 - Jeremy Kerely
    #84 - Stephen Hill
    #89 - Jordan White
    #15 - Zach Rogers
    #85 - Ryan Spadola

Totally agree with dumping Gates and resigning Edwards.

If we get Edwards back bump Spadola to PS.

I think its more than prudent to see what we really have in training camp, who shines, who doesn't, and what other more pressing needs we may have before we commit to BE, as much as would like to see him back.

I'm more worried about who will throw the ball than who will catch it and shine.

Throw a no-risk Braylon Edwards into the mix for chump change.
