this thread will be for the excuses they'll make to prove the Jets still stink. We all know how much they hate this franchise....what kind of crap will they spew tomorrow to bring us down (provided they both don't dissapear for another 4 month vacation....tough job boys!)
I think they were into the Jets going into this game. Russo picked them to win, both said they'll play hard all year and be a team Jet fans are into.
Why do you care? They're JOB is to stir you up and get you angry. Really, the best sports radio hosts get you so annoyed you call in.. They're just doing their jobs. Now, one thing I'll say. Russo doesn't know much about football, but Francesa knows football. If he has an opinion, it'll be accurate most of the time. Also remember, he LIKES Mangini.

Granted the win was against Tennessee. If we can by the grace of God beat New England that will get people talking.
we won't gain respect winning one game, especially the first game. even if we beat the Patsies, that still won't garner the attention we all want. now, if we win all 4 of our first division games, then people will take the Jets for real. cheers

Actually, Mike and Belicheck do not get along AT ALL. I believe Belicheck is still bitter on the way Mike called him out when he bailed on the Jets. However, Parcells LOVES Mangini by all accounts, and we know Mike has a man crush on Parcells
