There isn't any info on this guy on the Jets site. Where did he come from? I don't remember hearing much about him, but then yesterday you couldn't miss on the field.

They claimed him off waivers from Oakland at the same time they claimed Zach Hilton. It's interesting that he played but Mosley was de-activated. He must have been very impressive in practice, considering they traded for Mosley.

Rashad Moore my have been a huge pick-up.

Rashad Moore my have been a huge pick-up.
TIVO the game and did my own break down. Rashad Moore held down the NT position better than anyone Sunday. Mawae and the gaurds couldn't move him plus he got in the back field. It my not belong before he start.

He's a big upgrade imo.He was taking care of Mawae and a guard and he still (as you said) was able to get into the backfield and disrupt some plays.I wonder why the Raiders let him go?He seems like a good NT.

The DL and LBs were one of the most pleasant surprises yesterday. They put pressure on the QB most of the day, and though they did not shut down the run the run defense was effective when it needed to be.

With the play of Ball, Moore and Hamilton I think we have some good depth on the line. Robertson looked OK too.

Ball is the man. The guy is a monster with a non-stop motor. I want to see more of him.

I also recorded the game onto my DVR, and he was commanding double teams and still penetrating into the backfield.

It's weird though, he didnt play a down last year. I hope he progresses well this year, because then i like the young promise we could possibly have at DT (Pouha & Tui).

Maybe we could move DeWayne Robertson over to RE next year (start the transition this year. Then we could have Robertson - Moore/Tui/Pouha - Ellis

    I agree--he's got a motor that won't quit.
