On ESPN Primetime - Steve Young named Chad his #1 game breaker from yesterday - Chad - McNabb - Warner
I was about to post this. He really seemed sincere in his choosing Chad as his gamebreaker. Said he has handled everything with alot of class. Go Chad!
Stuart Scott-"And to everyone who thougt his shoulder might not be ready...Take That"-nice! BTW,Stew looks different. Did he get stung by some bees or something?
what the hell is up with Ditka -- he seems to be wishing bad on Chad and Warner saying just wait you'll see -- show some class there ditka
JAWS steps up also and picks Chad! yeah he had some zip on that ball -- maybe the rehab and strengthening really helped him
not too much stronger, but on some throws you can see he had a little more zip on it, enough to make his timing route more effective. Its when he floats them that they get picked because the corners and safetys have time to recover..but he has close to the same arm strength that I remember from 02...just enough, the rest of his success came from the ol noggin!!
Jay marrioti and Bob Ryan both gave chad his due on around the horn...however Ryan laughed at the idea of the Jets being "contenders"...time will tell
Yep. Chad will never be Bret Farve, but he IS Chad and that's good enough to win enough games to be competitive. I thought his throws had more zip than I'm used to but again, he hasn't spent enough time on the field healthy to really gauge. Perhaps what we saw yesterday is as good as Chad gets. Not bad, not great, certainly not dominating but clearly Smarter than most..
His arm is AS strong as ever but not stronger. Where im impressed is that as smart as he was in the past, hes definately the SMATREST hes ever been. His touch was also sensational. The first pass down the field to Coles was perfectly in stride, as was the second. The best throw of the day though might have been the TD to Baker. It was perfect coverage and it was thrown right on the outside shoulder of Baker. Its been said a lot, but still not enough. Chad was amazing.
