Ever since Al Toon left, the Jets continue to issue his number to almost every TE that has been on the roster:

Brady, Becht, Jolley and now Ryan.

Seriously, can they stop issuing #88 to Jet TEs?
It is worse than the SI or Campbell's Chunky Soup curse.

This is something more important to talk about than Nugent's latest Doug Brien impression effort.

That play was your typical YES! YES!...NO!!!!!! play. Halfway through the play we were all thinking we found the TE of the future.

I hope that guy never sees another pass thrown his way. The curse of Kyle Brady lives on.

Well let's see if he continues to make the same mistakes. I just think it was pretty unlucky and he deserves another shot or 2.

 This is too funny, but true. Seriously, remove that number forever.

Give the guy a break. The Titans defender smashed the ball out of his hands with his helmet. At least he caught the ball, something that has not been an attribute of Jets TE's since Mickey Shuler.

I'm down with that!! I was actually thinking about that when watching the game!! Retire #88 in Toon's name so we never have to see another TE ruin that number.

This thread is way to funny. It really does not matter who plays TE for the Jets. Our last decent TE might have been Mickey Schuler!
