:jets: chad looks awesome, the coaching staff looks seasoned and poised for such young guys let's keep it up and get BETTER each week  improvements are key
yea it is one game so we don't know yet, but before everything started I said we are gonna suprise the NFL
lets not get carried away. Great win. I saw somethings I did not like but now it is not the time to discuss. Lets enjoy our win and first place!!
I still think that this Jets team will max out at about 5 or 6 wins. We pulled off a mild upset against Tennessee but from what I hear Collins was awful (didn't see the game). Not sure how we can expect to beat teams like NE with no running game.
The point isn't that we won. Who cares about that? Seeing Pennington throw the way he did suggests to me that this team has as good as a chance as anyone this year.
hell, i thought we had no where to go but up to begin with, so yes we could surprise some folks, but only if our running game comes to life and our Special Teams gets it act together.....
Collins had his troubles, but his receivers let him down big at times when the ball was right where a pro needs to come up with a catch..................
This was not an upset! We are a much better team than Tenn. and we can beat NE the same way, by throwing the ball. Tenn. has one of the better run D teams in the league. This team will easily win 6 games!
dude it's one game against a poor team....not taking anything away from them but they have a long way before they prove anything....i think as it stands the only guy who really proved something yesterday was Chad...and that's just based on the fact that he hasn't lost his touch, took some big shots and tossed a nice game.
The only one was Chad? How about the game plan? How about Cotch and Coles? How about the all around play of the Baker who I have been highly critical of but had a solid all around game? How about the call to Smith on 3rd and 1 and his effort to get that critical 1st down? How about the play of Dave Ball on D, Hobson who I hate had a nice game, Dyson who was outstanding. How about a little love for Shotty who I have been more than skeptical of. What this team proved yesterday besides that Chad stepped up big time is that they don't have to second guess the young coaching staff, they know what they are doing. That's a huge first step that should not be over looked. Guys are going to pay a little more attention to the little things, they are going to believe a little more in the descipline that Mangini is trying to bring to the table. These are the things that make a difference between winners and losers in the NFL.
