I am not being sarcastic in any way with this question, it's in regards to the BPA mentality. What if the Jets have a DT available to them when their pick comes up that they had rated as a 3rd round pick, so technically he's the BPA to them based on their evaluations, do they take another DT? What if Barkley falls all the way to them, he would have to be BPA, but would they take him? That's why IMO it isn't always the right course of action to strictly adhere to BPA. I think that it's wiser to have more of hybrid mentality of focusing on clear positions of need (TE, S, LB) and use BPA in regards to that smaller window. Just my 2¢...
