Buzz in post draft news, the Jets were asking for too much to trade back. Don't know how true it is. Maybe teams and/or media have an angle in saying that. I have no idea.. But it sounds like them. They really had a chance to get an extra pick or two with the way teams were moving around. Maybe they should had left some points on the value chart to get an extra second. Several teams did and made out good on it. They cant rebuild the whole team in one draft. But there are moves they could have done to help a lot more. I think fans (well, I am) are frustrated about that more so than Richardson.
Gotta believe they were trying to deal with how low the clock got both times. But I'm fine with that, don't just deal to deal. Only if u get what u consider to be good value
