I'll say I went in with guarded optimism and was completely blown away. If you remember the '04 season nobody was talking shit when we were 5-0. Then after the first loss they all came swarming in saying "I told you so." I'm waiting for this next week, but hopefully Chad and co. can stave them off a little longer.
I am probably the biggests Chad critic and his throwing today was very, very good...........He just needs to hold on to the ball when e is sacked......
I will also be a man and step up and say I was wrong.....however I always wanted to be wrong so im happy.....and Ill take it a step further....if chad had played half as well as he did today I would have been impressed and said I was wrong....i am in total shock that he played as well as he did....I have the sunday ticket so I fired around the league as much as I could during commercials and I didnt see anyone playing like chad today.......I bow down to the Chad....now keep it up you noodle armed cocksucker! hahah j/k
Yeah – let’s keep sucking his D until next week. It was pretty good that he dismantled one of two teams actually worse than us last year. I’ll admin he exceeded my expectations already 1) he was hit at leas twice and continued to play 2) he had reasonable velocity on the ball. There wasn’t once where there was Talladega nights break away after be threw, going to an Applebee’s commercial only coming back as the ball landed . Enjoy it while it lasts Chad sunshiners. Call me when he doesn’t look like a high schooler in a playoff game.
Did you get a slew of calls after the playoff wins in 2002 and 2004????? Or did you forget those. And how about the other NFL greats that laid eggs in the playoffs, like um Dan Marino. I think he lost his last 4 playoff games by a combined score of 180-14 or something like that. Or the great Peyton Manning. Or Jim Kelly in the Super Bowl. etc etc. You make it sound like Pennington is the only QB to ever lose a playoff game when 11 QBs lose one every year and 20 other QBs don't even get to the playoffs.
It's one thing to not have much faith in him due to his injuries, it's another to have outright hatred for him, like you have.
he actually threw better than i expected. but , they played a team that was worse than us. the 3rd pick in the draft and no starter until a few days before the game. if he couldn't out-play collins, he should have retired right then and there.
you're right. the season is more than one game. wait until after the pats, bills, and fins games. then , we can get a more accurate evaluation.
If Chad can throw like he did today for a whole season, the result would be very good. He is off to a great start..............let's see.
As sharp as Chad was today, I know you will all keep in mind that this is a TEAM game when they take on more powerful teams, like the Patsies. IF the Jets dont cut it against a playoff bound team and Chad doesnt perform to today's standard, it wont be because his arm isnt strong enough. It will be because the team is not ready. To me, he looked all the way back. In fact, I haven't seen him this fearless in over 2 years. It was so refreshing. Let's hope the line gels and gets a nice push next week. With a little help from the running game, we could have a good thing going. The D will be there all year long. Here's to staring down at the rest of the East next week at this time!
Chad was great today. Hopefully now some people can shut the fuck up about him not being able to play anymore.
He had a great game but did nothing to change anyones mind that he can't throw the deep out or zip the ball into tight coverage. He never has been able to do this and never will. I enjoyed every second of watching him tear up the TENESSEE TITANS defense today.
he threw a 41 yard pass entirely ACROSS the field PEFECTLY. he threw that TD to Baker in tight coverage with zip on the ball... some of you need to wake up and see he has answered alot of your questions...you just either ignore it or don't want to admit it
He has no problem throwing deep at all. He throws a nice deep ball. Throwing into tight coverage, however...
