I'm thinking we are going to see almost every FA player available come through Florham Park this year. Similar to Pete Carroll's first years in Seattle. I think they signed and released 300+ player, I don't know but it was a lot! a whole lot!

The only thing worse than going 4-12 with a roster filled with inexperienced young players with tons of upside is going 6-10 with a roster filled with aged millionaires with zero upside.

Outstanding comment. May I add, and in so doing the overrated, slow, over the hill millionaires are mortgaging our future success, getting us on a downward spin.

    I want Dumervil.

IDC that he's only 5'11, so was James Harrison and he was awesome in his prime. He's got plenty of power at 260 pounds, can " get under" offensive tackles easily because of his smaller size, and has some speed to burn off the edge. He had 17 sacks and made the All-Pro team as a 3-4 OLB when McDaniels was coaching there. He'd be the best pure pass rusher Rex has ever had while being in NY.

That hit that Dumervil had on Brady in 2011 in Denver was awesomeee.

Dumervil was going to to take a pay cut to about 7-8M to rejoin Broncos. Even at reduced rate, Jets can't afford him

This is going to be June business if it happens. If Braylon draws interest elsewhere he's going to be too expensive for the Jets to want back at this point. If he's out there for vet minimum or near it in June then he's got a shot.
