wow we have to draft at least 2 o lineman. I think its a give in. Warmack is looking better and better . Who is someone we could put in if drafted in 3 -4 rounds ?
I like this thread, since we know that the roster can only get better from that list from now on. Well, maybe worse when Revis is traded.
It puts things in perspective. Looking at it, I can only see us getting better. Let's see now what moves are made
Idzik is prolly letting them check their worth on the open market. Often times the market just isn't there for some of these guys and they come back. If they don't come back we bring in UDFAs for open competition. Its not like we will be competitive in 2013 anyway.
I've been mostly joking about "Tank 4 Teddy" or "Drown 4 the Clown".. but my God, we're doing it. This is a 4 win team. MAX.
My thoughts on this thread are as follows: 1) Great idea. It's a single location to track all the coming and going players including free agency and I assume the draft and if anyone is brought in via trade between now and the start of the season. 2) Depressed as fuck looking at that list. Especially the offense. Next year is going to be dismal but rebuilding is probably exactly what this team needs, again, particularly the offense.
I can't believe we haven't made any effort to resign Landry. Maybe we are targeting a first or second round safety?
Well they've had the fire lit under their ass, Holmes is coming back and Hill will have a full regular offseason and proper training schedule (with all his hamstring issues and whatnot I'm not sure if he was prepared for training camp, this year he should be), other than that I'm not so sure. QB is still a problem area although I don't think Sanchez can be much worse than he was the last two seasons (assuming he is the starter). After that it depends on what we draft/sign: RB, WR, Oline, etc. We'll have to look at again closer to kickoff on the season but at this point in time I don't think we scare anyone in the league. Again, lots of time for improvements to be made but at this point we have to be bottom 5 in offense in the league...or is that underestimating it? Thoughts of a ranking at this time?
