    Bills release Fitzpatrick

    Bills cut QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, according to @buffalobills. Could see this coming. Former Bills QB coach, David Lee, now w/ #Jets. Hmm.

    Looks like the bills are going for a QB in round 1!

    Anyone know the details of his contract there, with guarnteed money etc?

    To play devils advocat, could he beat out sanchez?

    The Ryan Fitzpatrick release didn't save the Bills much money. With $10 million of dead money, the Bills saved $450,000

    Excuse my ignorance. Could we pick him up to have him compete with Sanchez without paying him more than minimum? If so, I would do it.

    Fitzpatrick is better than Sanchez and Garrard, so it wouldn't be a good idea to bring him in to compete. Looks like the Bills are definitely targeting Geno now.
