If you have PSLs you have no choice but to buy the tickets, do you? So is all this talk just about upper level seats?

PSL holders regularly sell some or all of their tickets via the secondary market. They often do this at a loss on the face value of the ticket, particularly for more expensive tickets where getting a decent percentage back is much preferable to being a no-show or giving the ticket away.

a large percentage of the seats are owned by brokers. those brokers are the reason why every single game has different people in each section and different teams colors all over the place.

guys selling a game here or there are just trying to recoup anything they can and they have found that there isnt much to recoup at this point. its partly because the team is not faring well, its partly because the stadium is an absolutely terrible place to watch a football game, its partly because there are alot of jets fans who over the past few years have said enough is enough and its in large part because the tickets are terribly overpriced.

you couldnt give many jets fans a psl at this point. there are a TON of them out there being sold for less than what they were bought for.

and those who are smart have already figured it out. there NO need to buy a psl or even a season ticket in the upper deck, because they can all be found for a great deal in the secondary market. there were games with over 10k tickets for sale in the secondary market last year. you could buy 2 seats next to eachother in every single section in the stadium.

upper deckers have said fuck it, im not paying for pre season and pre paid parking 4 months in advance. ill just buy what i need when i want it.

and psl people are running away cutting their losses for the same reasons. its a real clusterfuck that we have been hashing over in the 17a new stadium thread for a few years now, and i realize its a little bit of a hate session but there is also alot of good info.
