The guy presents match up problems, how many times was he wide open. I haven't seen a Jet receiver get that type of separation ever, aside from maybe Wesley Walker. I think that just by being on the field he makes us better. Of course the question marks are: will he be able to hold onto the ball, will he stay healthy and can we get him the ball? It's alot to overcome, but I look forward to having him back.
I think most fan's are undervaluing what Hill had to deal with last year. After Holmes was injured, suddenly he became the de facto top Wr (Kerley was still mostly slot) which limited his production severely. If he learns go catch, I think he will have a much better season next year.
I think you're right. Hope we don't give up on him. I recall some of his drops were because he was turning his head before he had the ball. That's a typical rookie mistake and easy to fix. I hope we hold onto Braylon, after this year Holmes will be gone and Hill needs to be established as our number 1 by that time.
I agree with you completely. I can see Hill as a Mike Wallace type player for us, hopefully developing into a Demaryus Thomas. (Calvin Johnson?)
I belive Hill is one of the best draft picks the Jets have made the last couple of years. It will be interesting seeing if he has a break out this year with Sanchez at QB.
Hill is going to be fine. We should draft Cordarrelle Patterson this year. We need to address the offense big time. Draft a QB this year or next, but we have to fix this broken offense and the draft is the route we must take.

I would expect to see a considerably better performance out of Hill or he may not be around much longer.
It would be awsome if we drafted patterson but he is more of a num 20-30 first rounder not a num 9 pick, theres better players then him in the top 10 mostly defense but theres a few o linemen in there to, but with that said if i was the GM im drafting him with the 9 pick because WR's dont grow on trees and are undervalued by the Jets for some reason, i love Pattersons ability to change direction it is insane, he is a beast and can also return kicks. Hopefully Idzik sees the importance in taking him because Rex sure as hell wont
This video made me want the Jets to take him with the num 9 pick, This kid is gonna be a speical player and a serious weapon . And we are lacking playmakers on offense in the worst way.He just makes it look so easy it out there,That last play in the video was crazy the way he stood on his feet and made it threw all the traffic. his ability to juke and change direction at any given time is a serious skill
No, that's moronic. But consider the source. Keeping Schottenheimer, hurt Sanchez. This is the first proven OC since he's been here.
No, yours is the typical homer SOJ response. Guy caught 21 for 252 in limited duty due to injury last year. And his week one performance was fair,y indicative of his physical tools. Between 40-50 balls, around 500 yards.
Guess you missed that week one show he put on. Caught the deep ball for 6. Caught another, waved through the trash to get 6 more. Guy clearly sucks.
Hill is a potential pro bowler. Most of his problems can be laid at Sparanos and Sanchez feet in my view. Hill was wide open ALL the time yet Sanchez rarely looked at him. Yes he had some drops but he will get better at that. I think if we can get even a reasonable QB to throw to him he will have a breakout year. And the comparisons to Demaryius Thomas are very valid, and he is better than him.
I think he is a mental midget...Not that the Jets were going to win the Super Bowl, but IMHO, last season's collapse started when he dropped that pass in New England...F' him...:breakdance:
