We have so many holes and an undetermined amount of cap space I have no idea what we are even working with.

We're gonna need two new starters on the OL probably, along with a TE/WR/RB situation severely lacking depth. Very skeptical about next year right now. Foles is a natural fit to push Sanchez if we can get him.

I'm not too worried about the D. I feel RR can put together a solid D with minimal talent out there, he has before.

If they trade Revis for a first, I'd say get Bernard with the first and look at the BPA or a safety in the second.

In the Buffalo game, there were at least two occasions (maybe three) where he easily beat his man but had to slam on the brakes and come back to make a circus catch on an underthrown "Sanchez Special". I think he has something left, and I think he truly wants to be here.

I'd have no problem with a core of Holmes, Edwards, Hill and Kerley in 2013. I think that group with a healthy Keller could be pretty productive.

I know I'm in the minority, but I don't think our weapons are nearly as bad as what's being said. I'd say we're average overall. We lost our two most prolific pass catchers for most of the season, and our most explosive player (McKnight) was banged up all year. Put those three guys back in the lineup with a viable NFL QB and I think our scoring will be fine next year.

QB: Geno Smith, Mark Sanchez, Greg McElroy
HB: Gio Bernard, Bilal Powell, Joe McKnight, Marcus Lattimore (5th or 6th round)
    FB: UFA/FA
WR: Holmes, Hill, Kerley, Gates, Late round pick
TE: 3rd Round pick, Jeff Cumberland, Hayden Smith
    LT: D'Brickashaw Ferguson
    LG: Vlad Ducasse
    C: Nick Mangold
    RG: Brandon Moore
    RT: Austin Howard

    LE: Muhammad Wilkerson
    RE: Quinton Coples
    DT: Kenrick Ellis, Damon Harrison
    OLB: 1st Round pick
    MLB: Rolando McClain, Demario Davis
OLB: 2nd Round pick / FA
CB: Antonio Cromartie, Kyle Wilson, Tyrann Matheui, Isaiah Trufant, Darrin Walls
FS: 4th Round Pick, Josh Bush
SS: Stevie Brown, Antonio Allen, Late round pick
K: New kicker late round pick or undrafted
    P: Robert Malone

In this scenario I'm trading Revis for a 1st and 2nd. Harris for a 3rd or 4th and Pouha for a late rounder.

I like Geno, if he's not there at 9 then I'd go OLB 9 then Gio on the other first (unless Kennan Allen or Cordarelle Patterson are there). If possible, I would trade our #9 to get another 2nd, this would mean BPA at our needed positions. If Geno is there at 9 and we have good trade partners for the pick, I'd take the trade. Stock up this offense for our next QB.

Moore is still one of the top guards in the NFL, cheap low year deal for him.

I take a flyer on Lattimore in the late rounds. I really think that he would be something special once healthy. Also take a flyer on Tyrann. Really like him, and I think he would be a solid nickel corner in the mid to later rounds.

Stevie Brown from the Giants is a ball hawk, and I'm pretty sure that he's a FA.

I pick up Rolando McClain after the Raiders release him. I think that he instantly becomes our #1 MLB. Can cover a lot better than Harris, and had much more upside.

    New kicker, don't like Folk.

If we manage to trade Revis and get a 1st and 2nd, I'd trade the 2nd for Percy Harvin. A group of Hill, Harvin, and Kerley with a QB would be exciting to watch.

I didn't put much time into this, so the picks might be mixed around.

I am not trying to be rude, but do you have any concept of how the cap works?

Sanchez missed a half dozen passes to Edwards in those few games. In addition, some of the passes that Edwards did catch were tough catches that killed his stride.

That being said, right now, he is better than any alternative on our roster.

    LG: Ducasse
    C: Mangold
    RG: Moore, Late Round Pick
    RT: Howard

    DE: Wilkerson, Coples
    DT: Ellis

I have us signing 4 or 5 new players through free agency, If that isnt possible then Woody should just sell the team and fire everyone

This is a fun topic and very much applies to the near future. I hope there is some change, but nothing too crazy. Here we go. This assumes we trade Revis for picks (maybe Foles included) and that we trade down in the draft for more picks, and also involves trading Pou'ha. I have a sneaking suspicion that it will happen. I don't see all that many FA acquisitions to be honest.

    Offense:

QB: Mark Sanchez / Nick Foles / Nassib (winner of competition starts, Nassib stays for a while and develops regardless)
RB: Reggie Bush / Powell / McKnight
OT: Ferguson + Austin Howard + 3rd round pick
OG: Ducasse + Slauson + 2nd round pick (Slauson goes backup I hope and signs cheap)
    C: Mangold
TE: Tony Gonzales + Cumberland + 5th round pick
WR: Holmes, Percy Harvin, Kerley, Hill
FB: Hilliard comes back for cheap

    Defense:

    NT: Ellis
    DE: Wilkerson / Coples
    ILB: Harris / Davis
OLB: late first round pick + McIntyre + 3rd rounder
CB: Cromartie / Wilson + 4th round pick
    S: Landry / Allen / Bush + 2nd round pick

    Special teams:

    Kicker: Folk resigns
    Punter: Malone
    KR: Harvin
    PR: Kerley

The other picks will have to do with NT RB & more offensive linesmen!

I hope that your talking about a different Tony G. and not the one who says he's retiring and the Falcons are trying to persuade to stay. Why would he come to the Jets if the Falcons want him back?

Big difference between signing 4-5 players to fill depth, than signing 4-5 players that could be considered top prospects for their positions.

    Jennings
    Keller or Walker
    Barwin
    Smith
    Landry
    Bell
    Cribbs
    Bradshaw

You have to consider our own free agents as well.

    ^Not bad at all. Realistic.

OL looks weak, not sure how Howard will be in zone block and Ducasse can't be counted on. We can only do so much in one off year though.

^ True, and then in 2014 draft we focus on more O line help to go along with one of the two QB's if we're somehow lucky enough to draft either of them.

Ite ditch the Barwin idea then forget him, Focus on WR's Amendola Cribbs and Bradshaw. Forget Jennings. We can sign Cribbs to a 1 year deal, Amendola to a 3 because of his injury history. And Bradshaw to a 1 year deal. But these guys would make us better on offense much better

I love a lot of those picks but I think you're being optimistic that Hopkins and Kelce fall to us. I think Kelce will be gone in the late 2nd, he's a complete player.
