He is a big punk... Not just saying this because it will be in NY either. That may be one of the valid reason because NY is one of the best cities in the world and people can come to Ny/Tri State Area and even towards Philly and have a good experience. The money that generates throughout will be tremendous . Why should the same cities be rotated for superbowls .The teams can play during the season in any type of weather but can't do it for the Super Bowl? Get the box seats if they feel they can't take the weather. Now the main reason why it sometimes should be played in cold weather is because just say the team that has the advantage of winning is a warm weather team or doom team. Now the game has added a twist to it if the weather dictates so and that's the beauty of the game of football. You add wind , rain, snow, sleet , cold , maybe decent weather you never know. I would think a guy like Flacco who played at Delaware and plays in bmore would see this as an upside.
I doesn't even matter. We all know it won't be Flacco in the superbowl next year, it will be Mark Sanchez.. hopefully with the Jets. Heck, the last 4 years the AFC championship game has had either Flacco OR Sanchez. Gotta keep the tradition going.
Beat Denver in 6 degree weather. u mad? whats your QB done? anyway, I agree he could have worded it better, and I agree with him. but why you mad though?
He was asked a question and he answered. He is not paid to be politically correct. They have the NFL Players Association if he wanted a politically correct response. Gary Myers ran with a bitch ass article because he knows that anytime fans don't hear someone kissing their ass, regardless of what is being said, they get bent all out of shape. Gary Myers won't be running routes, tackling or blocking. That bitch ass hasn't earned the respect to question the hearts of men who play the most barbaric sport in modern history.
You asked a very good question but to have some here tell it, Sanchez is a better postseason QB than Flacco. I mean one did take his team to the SB but don't let that minor detail get in the way of the discussion. I mean Sanchez DID lose to the Steelers 24-20 which is a pretty big accomplishment
Great contribution to the thread. No idea what Te'o has to do with this outside of you having disdain for him on the field. I am a Irish fan, not a Te'o fan btw. Too lazy to switch it to Eifert or someone else.
If your question is serious, then no. If your question was rhetorical, I'm not sure I get why you are asking what you are asking.
Oh please Flacco. If a team is really the best in the NFL, worthy of being Super Bowl champions, they ought to be able to win in any weather condition. And the fans? Its the Super Bowl! Suck it up and wear a coat!
Sure. But if past SB champs didn't have to brave out cold/shitty conditions why should he? 2 sides buddy 2 sides
I agree with him - people from New York...even the ones who actually like it don't want to be in New York in February. Totally stupid idea.
There's no pass interference or roughing the whatever in ultimate fighting. Flacco's gay. He should grow his pedo handlebar moustache back.
Agreed. I'm not sure why but I caught a segment on Fox news about it and they had this mentally retarded guy on that struggled to talk but said he was so greatly hurt by people insulting mentally challenged people. It's a load of crap. When people say something is retarded they are inferring it's stupid and illogical. It is a common phrase, they aren't trying to diss retards. Similarly people who say "that's gay" often mean the same exact thing, they don't literally mean it's homosexual. They think it's stupid. South park outta do an episode on that if they haven't.
