Sanchez isn'tas mobile as Garcia or Young, but he's not a pure pocket passer. He can roll out and make plays on the run. Garcia and Young were certainly good at that.

Can't hurt to try, doing what he can to get the job back. Might as well root for him, he's most likely coming back.

Makes me want to vomit. Guy knows we're bringing in real competition, so he's trying to get a head start. Watch him win it...

Sanchez had his chance, he is nothing more than dead weight. Cut him now a learn a lesson.

I root for Mark because I think he really wants to succeed and he puts 100% effort. That said I'm not sure the god given skills ar all wher they should be...

Maybe he's really just the new assistant GM and trying to get a QB in here.

Sanchez is wasting his time. Last year he met with Chad Pennington trying to learn Tony S's system. Stop turning the ball over. The Jets need to move on from Sanchez. Cut him after June 1.

Yep, not turning the ball over works in all systems.

He did the same thing last year when the system changed. Say what you will about him but we've never heard about anything other than him being a hard worker. It's also in the Jets best interest that he does well.

That said, clearly this didn't help him last year.

Maybe he will also restructure his contract to around 10,000 a year. That's about all he is worth anyway. It's funny he reaches out to someone on the sunny fun filled west coast. I'm sure his trips will be business as usual, but at this point it won't matter who tutors him, he would suck in any system designed for the Qb. He should go find Reggie roby and learn to punt.

The thing about Sanchez is... he's 26. He made some dumb decisions but I was 25 when I got my shit together. Maybe he's striving towards that now.

Thats misleading because Tony had no system. He was never an OC. He went from position coach to head coach. That meeting with Chad couldnt have yeilded much usable info. Marty is a long time OC. His system is proven and Garcia did well in it.

It's amazing how people can go out of their way to bash a player for being a hard worker and wanting to succeed, what a joke.

I'd rather hear that he's trying to improve then not hear anything at all.

He's going to be here next season so I support his effort.

The guy's work ethic, I don't think can be questioned, damn shame the minute he steps on the field it flies out of his head faster than a fat bitch that sat down too fast.
