Woody couldn't resist. Tannenbaum mentioned snacks, feet, and Tebow to Rex. Rex couldn't resist. I notice there is a group of posters who systematically defend the organization and try to discredit anyone who criticizes the organization, labeling them "darksiders". Truthfully there isn't much to debate. It's been clearly stated it was a joint decision and now that it's backfired, Woody is privately saying he wasn't on board and was pressured in to. Even if you ignore all the evidence that contradicts Woody's statement, what type of leader throws his 2nd in command under the bus like that? It's cowardly way to act.
who said it was an easy persuasion? but it was Tanny's job to get players and Woody may have deferred to him in addition to his having a persuasive argument for Tebow. there is nothing in Tanny's statement to validate your position that they were easily persuaded.
I'm inclined to believe he's lying. I guess everyone will want to pretend now that they didn't want Tebow considering how it went, with Rex refusing to use him.
