The New England Patriots have not won a Super bowl since being busted for spy gate. They had a camera man apprehended in Giants Stadium while playing the NY Jets, and a spy busted in the walk through the night before their super bowl against the ST. Louis Rams! It is disturbing that people forget these facts, they should not be forgotten. All teams "steal signals" it is an art that is why they have guys send "Dummy Signals" from the sidelines during Games! But the extent of how the New England patriots did it for YEARS goes far beyond what any other team ever did! They used actual CAMERA MEN! Ted Johnson himself said. "We knew what play was coming before the ball was snapped" That is not an art, that is flat out CHEATING! Their tapes were confiscated, reviewed and destroyed, and they were fined $150,000 dollars between the origination and the HELL bound coach! I am basking in the glory of their loss this evening! They will never again win a Championship with Bill Bellechick or Tom Brady! Tom Brady can never be considered one of the game’s best Quarterbacks, because he never won a championship without knowing what he was facing due to his team breaking the rules, BLATANTLY!

I say this in most spygate places. I don't really think it affected anything but it's a funny coincidence that won't be shed until they win another win. It isn't fair to the patriots, and things outside of their control like Roger "burning" the tapes that made it look worse than it was. I don't think it really affected much, but it's something they can't shrug off albeit I think it's one of those funny coincidence that I use in jest, not seriously

It's going to be something that is talked about for a while. Especially if they don't win another Superbowl again.

That being said, it's delicious. Cheaters never win, and winners never cheat. It's still painful beign a Jets fan, but at least I can say we don't cheat.

Because if you can beat the patriots most of the time it indicates that your team isnt crap. "team to beat" isnt the same as undefeated.

Funny that you preach about "facts" while spreading blatant lies. The Patriots never taped the Rams walkthrough. The commissioner found no evidence at all suggesting they did, and even the pissed-off former Patriots employee, Matt Walsh, specifically said that it never happened.

Might want to get your facts straight.

Sorry your team deserves to go down in history with lance Armstrong, Barry bonds, and Mark McGuire. It must hurt to be in the world class cheater category.

Cheating Patriots have never won a legit superbowl. If the NFL wasn't so worried about the game the truth would have come out.

Why did Goodell destroy the tapes? They should have been made public. Everybody knows there was something fishy on those tapes. Goodell should have done the right thing and stripped the Pats of those 3 titles.

They came within a gnat's piss of making the SB again. I begrudgingly admire the horrible cunts.

If I could Fed-Ex a camcorder to Rex, I would.

Kraft and Goodell are buddies. Which means some things have to be done to save face of the franchise. If Kraft wanted those tapes burned and not seen by the public then he got his wish.

What was on the tapes that he burned? Aside from what he told us?

If it had so little affect, why did the Patriots get fined so heavily right after the evidence was destroyed?

You can't say how it affected the game because the evidence was destroyed.

For all we know, the Pats got a slap on the hand for something that was much worse than was let on.

The worst thing Goodell could ever do was invalidate three Super Bowls, which is the embodiment of the product of his company.

Better to "admit" that there was some rule-breaking that didn't affect the outcome of games, and levy a "harsh" penalty.

Sorry, stinks far too much like a cover-up.

I also think it was much worse. There are always rumors coming from players and such how their helmet radios always seem to malfunction in Foxboro. Peter King once wrote Peyton was paranoid that the lockerroom in Foxboro was bugged. Multiple players have said "It's like the Patriots knew what we were going to do immediately". So maybe it was worse, but we have and know about is that what they publicly got caught for isn't too serious.

Goodell made the whole thing worse. If there is nothing on the tapes, release the tapes instead of actaully burning them which carries a bad connotation.

2 miracle catches by the Giants.... If those passes are dropped, Brady & company have 5 Superbowl wins.

I guess you forgot the stupid "tuckrule" thanks to Brady when everybody knows he fumbled the ball against the Raiders and 3 cheap lucky field goals that the Pats made to win 3 Superbowls.

Destroying the tapes was a bad move. Cover-ups always make the crime look worse.

Stripping titles was not an option. You strip a title and you are breaking the timeline of the game and damaging the brand in the process. Punishing the individual offenders is one thing but damaging the brand is off limits.
