Saw an interesting stat on NFL network this morning. Of teams with at least 10 road playoff games the Jets have the 4th best winning percentage in NFL history with a record of 7-10. There are very few things the Jets can claim top 5 of in NFL history. This is more a testament that we are never good enough to earn home playoff games but still we are top 5 in something. Of course even in this we trail the Pats, who are #2 at 7-9. The gist of the spot was really about the Ravens who are 8-5 and have the best in the NFL.
I'm a pretty big Joe Flacco fan... wish the Jets had pursued him in the draft at the time, but whatever... Go Ravens!
I don't know what I want more. For the Pats to lose today, or for the Pats to lose AGAIN after making it to the SB!
@MMehtaNYDN Joe Flacco is trying to beat Peyton Manning & Tom Brady in back-to-back road playoff games. Only QB to do that? Mark Sanchez in 2010 #nyj The good ole' days.
that doesn't mean that he doesn't suck. not saying that he didn't play a role in those two playoff runs in 09 and 10.
So you think we're going to get to the championship by a wildcard next year? Have you been taken advantage of by any pyramid schemes lately?
We got there twice that way twice, This defense is gonna be younger and faster next year , If the west coast offense works and we rank in the top 15 offensivley and we rank Top 5 in defense we will be a playoff team
I'd rather he remains 4-2 on the road in the playoffs next season but add a 2-0 home playoff record to his resume.
