The beauty of this D as listed is that all you have to do is shift BT to the OLB position and slide kimo and DROP over and you have the 3-4 linup. GUYS this is a good thing, we will be able to change D on the fly with the same personel. the Steelers D did not have the best personel in the NFL last year, but they did have the best disguised set. Not saying we will be the Steelers but i really think our D will be able to match up with most in the NFL this year and will be verry versitile.

The coaching staff had nothing to do with this depth chart. This was made by the Jets media department. It's just their guess as to who should be where.

Hmm...it's interesting how Jones is listed as a backup guard as well as tackle. Did he play inside at all in the preseason?

While it (almost too) clearly says "produced by the Public Relations Deapartment" do you realyy think this went out without the approval of the Tanginis. I don't think the Public Relations Dept is going to go around insulting QBs who expected to be #1 or 2 coming in, listing them 3rd without full approval. Remember the Parcels/ Belicheck model involves absolute control of info.

There's more than one Tangini? I'm starting to think that this front office is a New York Islanders style anarchy!

Whats with that? I havent seen anything from Blaylock and most posters agreed he was most likely to be cut, which implies many agree that hes the worst player/worst upside on the team.

I dont recall anyone thinking he would be cut.
The question WAS what to do with 3FBS (Askew;Tutt; JMartin) and 5 RBS (Houston, Barlow; Washington; Blaylock). Maybe people thought that Washington would take over for Blaylock right away? I didnt read that though.
