Giants don't exactly nail their picks outside the first round...

Ross found Victor Cruz, JPP, Nicks, Wilson, Austin, etc....their problem has been drafting BPA a little too much and their pass rush fell off towards then end due to having weak linebackers and all the injuries to their corners

Ross would do wonders here but I think he's a lock to Carolina

If he is a hot commodity, I think he goes to a place where he can choose his own coach...

Ernie Arcorsi is a consulting Jerry Richardson on the Panthers GM search. He recommended Ross to Richardson.

The Spanos family got Ron Wolf to help them find a new GM.

Woody got some guy to consult him nobody has heard of. Typical Woody.

or a place with a better hope for success.

Jets > Jaguars in this respect IMO (Obviously biased, but still)

Exactly.. if he goes to Jax he's probably stuck trading for Tebow to sell tickets.

Obviously if he goes to the Jets he wouldn't even have to call a moving company.

We need well known consultants now? Look at the guys we're trying to bring in, they're all very highly regarded. Early in the process but so far you can't ask for any better candidates to be on the interview list.

Getting Ross would be a [retty good move. An for those saying the Giants don't have much talent ? They won the super bowl less then a year ago, with a guy Ross found outta nowhere as a main cog in them doing so. (Cruz)

This is the type of organization we should be looking to purge.

Giants have parlayed big receivers and d-lineman into some big success, but i'm not
that crazy about the overall talent

This is amazing news. Even if he's not hired it shows the Jets are showing some intelligence when looking at candidates. That consultant Woody has hired for GM search is already impressing me.

Not really excited about this. We need a more experienced football guy.

We need someone that will get this roster back up to contending shape, someone who can get the job done.

Experience should not be a factor, results should. Whoever is the best fit for the job should get the job regardless, obviously if the canidate has no credentials or isn't a good fit he won't get hired.

Experience isn't a big deal. Results are.
