We have the seventh ranked defense in the NFL. Can you image how much better that ranking would be if the defense was not on the field more then the offense and remained fresh thru out the game.
Oh I agree, Sanchez is the first problem. But the team has done a good job getting him to this point. I've always been a Sanchez skeptic, I don't think he has it but before this year he was still capable of occasional big plays. He probably never had the mental makeup, but I would say the same about Alex Smith.

Byrd was over the top, though if Mark hits him perfectly he probably beats Byrd to the outside...any touch on that throw, and Byrd is underneath going the other way
Vick would be horrible. He's a shell of his former self. I like Matt Moore a lot as he'll come on the cheap and he's solid. Also Matt Flynn is another possibility.
