Wow. That hurts. I've been called pathetic by a 18-20 year old who lacks basic reading comprehension. Give your mom back the laptop she bought you and concentrate on your college algebra course you are retaking for the fourth time. Keep up with the personal attacks, while the rest of us discuss football.
The answer to your question about whether Rex Ryan is too conservative and forward thinking enough can be answered definitively with one example from earlier this year: Jets down 35-0, 7 seconds left in the half, 1st and goal. Instead of taking a shot at the endzone, he brings out the kicker to kick a FG. Down 35. On 1st down. This showed that he had absolutely no confidence in his QB. Yet his QB was back out there for the 2nd half. That, to me, exemplifies Rex's head lack of balls and common sense
still, can not have anything to do that most likely tebow stunk it up in practice. nope,it's a religious conspiracy.
Obvious trolling. Nobody said anything about religion. Nice thread derail attempt. That's why I asked the mods to close it. I knew it would turn into something ridiculous and Tebow-centric in the Tebowmania forum.
Even people who claim not to be Christians are quick to use religious persecution as a convenient excuse. It always cracks me up when the Tebots unselfconsciously declare that their hero is a poor practice player, because, you know, practice is so meaningless. They never consider the negative ripple effect poor practices have on the entire offense. One of the best things about having Peyton Manning in Denver is the Broncos no longer come out flat against inferior opponents. Manning's preparation and professionalism inoculates the whole team against that kind of thing.
trolling? you are the one who is making threads insisting that rex -lol- refused to ply tebow even though it would have led the jets to the -lol- superbowl. I mean for fucks sake, manning doesnt have a whole lot left in the tank, why would denver not keep and groom the future qb if he was worth a damn. great guy, fucking crap for a qb. there just has to be some conspiracy or something wrong with rex,it could never be that mr holy is absolute garbage in practice.
Speaking about Manning, one of these clowns proudly proclaimed that the Broncos would not make the playoffs... Who was that? And about the thread, practice is important.
Simple answer, no. He used Trufant, a 5th corner/ST gunner to cover Welker because he thought it could work. That right there is something. Now if you want to say his offense style is not risky, I agree but I think your speaking about overall coaching conditions. And yes this is about Tebow. If the Jets had Wilson, they would have 100% pushed for him to start because Wilson would have looked better in practice than Sanchez. If Tebow is not outperforming Sanchez or McElroy in practice and on top of that the coach had the player pushed on him, it make a lot of sense that player isn't starting. IF that player also has two broken ribs and the offense would have be tailored to get maximum effectiveness, just another reason.
Another dolphin fan who can't get enough Tebow, you and best beach are like the south beach version of Phaytal and concerned citizen. I am happy though that Tebow let you guys and Jets fans put aside their differences and unite against a common enemy
I don't know if it's exactly conservativeness rather than loyalty. I think he stuck with Sanchez because Sanchez has been his guy for the past four years.
Never said that at all. Another guy who refuses to piece together the meaning of words interlaced into a sentence. This wasn't even about Tebow playing... it was about Rex's risk aversion. Denver got rid of Tebow to avoid Tebowmania, which the Jets organization happily embraced... until the team fell apart.
Broken ribs are no joke. Isn't the simplest answer that Tebow may really never have been healthy enough to play significant snaps? And has the theory that his salary swells to an enormous amount based on hitting certain playing time targets been laid to rest?
