It'll be quite sad to see Mawae in Titan powder blue instead of Jet green. We all know what kind of a player he was for us through the years. It's even hard to remember him as a Seahawk before landing in NY. But now he is part of the other team. Our enemy so to speak. We know he will be the emotional leader for the Titans, and that he will by psyched up for this game. We will need to be just as enthusiastic and attack him from the start. Kimo and Dewayne will need to man up against him so he won't be able to work in space on Vilma.

yeah, it's going to be a weird feeling seeing him crouch down in front of a different QB. He was my favourite jet for a while now. But like you said he's our enemy, and we got to do whatever it takes to push through him.

Hopefully he won't have a huge club attached to his hand to bash Robertson with.
Lol...it was probably full of steel when he had it on 04

I don't Robertson and Van Oelhoffen, playing against Mawae seems like hell on earth (remember the club?)

Kimo will whup Mawae's ass if he is head up on him, Mawae is great at pulling and double teams but he is small and will have problems with big strong guys head up

Not to mention coming off a season ending injury with a torn tricep...how much in shape can he be?
I know Vilma is going to tell every ref to make sure he's not holding anybody.

I'm sad to be playing against Mawae, but I wouldn't be surprised if there will be some Mawae bashing going around before/after the game. Mawae wasn't one of the "cleanest" players, so if he happens to wack Dewayne or Vilma in the face, and your pissed, just remember he did that a few years ago against SF (which was pretty hilarious). Sorry for the rant.

Yep – it just won’t be right seeing anyone other than Chad, or of course Vinny or Brooks or Feidler or Mirer or Lucas or O’Donnel or Foley rubbing Mawae’s sack.

Come to think of it – he’s had a lot of dudes touching his nutbag in NY…

I would expect Mawae to have edge against Robertson considering his vast experience as well as the familiarity factor. It would be a pretty big statement for DRob to step and have a big game against what used to be one of the Jets unquestioned leaders. Hopefully he see's it that way too and rises to the challenge.
