He looked pretty good without any reps with the first team nor any gameplan.

And he did what Mark Sanchez should have done all year.

Just be okay or alright and don't fuck up.

This drama definitely will hurt Jets in the long run. Remember why Eli Manning didn't want to sign with Chargers?

He looked pretty good handing the ball off.

I know the Jets make some people drink but

    1) McElroy has not started yet.
    2) He did not look "terrible".

There is absolutely no way he can play worse than Sanchez. Sanchez has taken the word Suck to an epic level.

It is unfortunate that we had 2 road games after Arizona because had we been home Sanchez would have already been on the bench.

I doubt McElroy is ever going to be anything special given his physical limitations, but I don't get how anyone can shit on his Arizona performance. It looked to me as if the guy did exactly what was asked of him.

He also caught the Cards on a couple of their DB blitzes by working the cadence - something Sanchez has failed to do all season.

Who knows, maybe he'll surprise us.

Fuck Rex for doing this now. Most people with football sense saw this guy was shot for a while.

Yep, he didn't fark things up and he actually recognized blitzes and handled them effectively.

I hope McElroy does well in the final 2 games so he could potentially be the starter for 2013

That's what happens when you're a smart QB and don't go into the NFL after 8 games of college.

It's all over the news - nationwide now. I happen to be in Fl right now and the local station is saying McElroy Sunday.

My regret is we waited too long. This douche, El Guappo, has been stinking up our field way too long. Played 16 fucking games in college and was totally surrounded with unbelievable talent and because he looked okay in that environment, we give a 1st Rounder for this fucking Californication Laid-back Dipshit.

Right on. Look at the final 4 games of the 2011 season. It was obvious a year ago.

Yeah, it's been a rolling disaster since the end of last season.

Good move. It was what was speculated by many posters (not me) that Rex would ride Sanchez until we were eliminated then go to McElroy. I rememver quite a few people saying that, good call.

I'm excited for McElroy. It would be great if he could be a decent placeholder until we find the next guy to be QB. It would be even better if he could be the next guy but that's unrealsitic at this point

I'm hope McElroy does, good for him to get this opportunity. Honestly, I think he can be a Ryan Fitzpatrick, minus the Interceptions.

To be fair, sanchez was having a pretty decent statistical season until about week 13 or 14. He just doesn't look like the same guy anymore. He looks scared out of his mind.

If McElroy comes in and wins games the same conversation will be said, why didn't you start McElroy all season?

    Circus all the way.

Obviously, I'm biased towards wanting to see Tebow play.

But even putting that aside, these next two games seem so boring and doom and gloom. The air would have been charged with excitement if Tebow was starting. Would have helped make up for the mathematical elimination.

you could have posted the same thing after the Arizona game.
too bad so many front office people have their brains up their azz.
if true, I will give bradway credit if he talked them into spending that expensive 7th round pick on McElroy. at least his college coach never said he was NOT ready to play in the nfl.:shit:
