Yep, that's what I thought, a thread about someone who thinks his fantasy football team should be a priority for the Jets.

Another old-timer - get yourself to the age tree thread and put yourself on there so I move further down the list!

Only one comment - the Polo Grounds was actually in Manhattan, at 155th Street and 8th Avenue, across the Harlem River from the Bronx (and Yankee Stadium).

I understand the point of fantasy football owners. That could be tough. It's not about starting any Jets, it's more about eventually every team doing it. That could hurt.

But that really is tough man. The formula they are using may seem deceptive to you, but it is downright frustrating to Tennessee. Can you imagine what Fisher must be thinking right now? Who is going to start at LB? Thomas? Will Jones weaken the OLine at some point in the game? How long will they stick with Penny? How many carries will Barlow get?

Fantasy football is a cute idea. I don't bother with it because I have other things to do besides follow players I don't give a damn about, like posting on TGG, hahaha! However, it's not a NFL team's duty to make your fantasy team competitive. Besides, what's the difference between this and when in week 8 the Falcon's wait until Saturday night to tell everyone Vick is out?

The quiet coming from Jets camp is strategic, not conspiratorial. They don't care whether your fantasy team succeeds. They care whether the New York Jets succeed.

That's no offense to you JTuds. I can understand where your frustration is coming from, but you have to understand, this is the right thing for the club.

So they dupe Tennessee big deal, but after week one every team will know who the Jets are starting so big deal Mangini.

The best 11 offensive players will play and the best 11 defenders will play and this will be determined by the Jet coaches..Have you ever heard of packages on certain downs 2 TE's 2 backs , 1 back 3 receivers..The starting offense has 14 or 15 starters, it's not just the guy who runs out of the tunnel that gets every rep..Whats working determines who plays more inb a game. depth chart..whatever

JTuds.... look... I was ornery in my last post, but if this is a FF question, there is a forum for that. As a FF player in 6 leagues, including dynasty and IDP leagues, you should be happy there is no depth chart. As a Jets homer, that gives you an advantage. You should know much more about the Jets than your league-mates.

So, I still don't get the original complaint. What do you need to know? Cotchery is the #2 WR for now, Blaylock will start game one but Barlow will unseat him as the starter at some early point my guess is week 2) , and if Barlow sucks, Houston gets his chance.

Having Bryan Thomas still listed as a DE instead of OLB makes him an IDP stud. Another advantage you should have and take advantage of in your FF leagues. From a pure Jets fan standpoint, why is it an issue? Any reason at all to complain about anything always seems to be the knee jerk reaction by so many Jets fans....

As long as he has a pecking order in mind, what's the difference if it's posted? You'll figure it out quick enough.

As a FF player you should know being a homer, always leads to losing.

If not having a public depth chart gives us one mismatch, on one play, in one game of the season.. then it's worth it.

Who cares about the depth chart....We know Chad is our starting QB and that Mangini is going to play the players that helps us win! The RBs are gonna be by committee so does it really matter who's listed as number 1? No it doesn't!

    cheers

Not true! Nugent will get plenty of fantasy points! Until this team can finish drives he's gonna be producing some points.
