Gaffney The Eagles are not WR challanged at all, reggie Brown, Stallworth , Baskett etc are all there and hence the decison to release Gaffney and Mcants. I doubt we pick up any WR's Wallace wright will head to the PS and be joined by Blanton, Kowaleski, Nienhus, Costanzo, and whoever else is left.I guess the main question about the cuts is why we are keeping so many Running backs.Ryan Myers over McClover is a good choice, Too bad McClover got put on IR last season. We have enough linebackers on this team, and I guess Chatman can do McClovers job on special teams cutting Dressen is a head scratcher though, especially since Bakker and the new guy from Dalls are the only TE's on the team now.We are fine at WR and do not need Gaffney, i am happy with what we have .I am glad MacCariens is still on this team , same with Coles.
I dont see the Jets adding anymore Wr to their roster unless they make a trade 1. Coles is not going anywere unless its by a trade 2. McCareins will not be cut because he would count 2 million against the cap. 3. Cotchery, Dwight, and Brad Smith wont get cut. theres no more room for anymore Wr unless they want to carry six Wr.
Who do you cut to make room for him? Its not going to be Brad Smith, I would then guess your advocating cutting Dwight. Although we don't know the extent of Dwight's iunjury. Without cutting Dwight or moving McCairens someone has to go if we pick up another WR. The problem with picking up someone elses lthrowaway is you have to get rid of poeple on your team who may be be just as good if not better.
I think something to live by is: If the freakin Lions cut someone,he's gotta be bad, don't take him. No Rodgers
no thank you..seems like what you want for every cut, washed up WR in the nfl...Mangini will pass on gaff
Yes, it's his son. Not surprised no one on this site answered you on this. They are too busy crying about getting or losing sixth round picks that mean nothing.
