Jets | Team acquires Hamilton from Oakland Fri, 1 Sep 2006 18:40:25 -0700 Jerry McDonald, of ANG Newspapers, reports the Oakland Raiders announced they have traded DL Bobby Hamilton to the New York Jets for an undisclosed draft choice. Hamilton played with the Jets through from 1996 through 1999. New York's head coach, Eric Mangini, was a New England assistant when Hamilton played with the Patriots.
Lil late. I was at the game, got home, re-watched it and saw they announced this. FITM. Get your game up! It's regular season! Merged 20x
He is a like bad pemny or another way to say it is we go out & collect all the others teams garbage. When did we cut him 95, 96. 97?
But he's got two Superbowl rings in this defensive system. He adds depth, experience, and he isn't an expensive option. Nothing wrong with this signing.
Still I mean the pick has to be in the 7th round otherwise we really gave up a draft choice for Bobby Hamilton?
yer well he stabilises the line and adds a little more experience so that possibly the line will be a little more dangerous and vilma wont have to be looking at so many blocks
You can consider him not just a minor league player but a minor, minor league player. If he was so good & could help here & there why did we cut him in the 1st place a zillion years ago & why did the Pats also cut him? All these moves tell me that our DL even with all the media spin put out is in deep trouble. Why do we have to bring in players to "teach" when we pay asst coaches to do that? Also I did noit know our DL was so young & inexperienced that it needed steadying by a player we cut many moons ago. Lets see SE has now how many years in the league? DeW this is #4 I think. Kimo probably has 10 or more & having played so many years in the 3-4 if our other players need coaching & a player is going to do it then what the heck do we need the coaches for? .
