How's it going everyone. For class we have to type a 3 page report on someone we can relate to. I'm deciding to do my paper on Wayne Chrebet, for many reasons (just look at all the threads on him). I wanted to know if anyone had any solid links with his biography and/or facts on him. Any info would be helped. If it matters any at all, I'll toss up the grade I get for it. Thanks
I would go back into the archives from his rookie year. You'll find a slew of articles telling his background story. If you're real adventurous, turn this into a bigger project for the board - A Wayne Chrebet tribute bio. If it's good, maybe Petrozza will put it on the front page. To do it right, you'll want to contact his agent, Art Weiss. He has a law office in Franklin Lakes, New Jersey. I wouldn't call the guy. Rather, I would fax him a letter (the number is on the internet) telling him what you're doing and asking if he can help you out. Maybe he'll put you in touch with Wayne; maybe he won't. I'd make sure to tell him you won't take more than an hour of his time, and make sure you don't come off like some sort of nutjob, stalking, fan. And good luck.
There are a million pages on Chrebet around the internet. Just Google his name and you'll be wading in enough stuff for 3,000 pages, let alone three. Good luck with the paper!
Thank. The paper is actually a mission statement paper. "How I compare and relate to _____". Im choosing Wayne, he was "the little engine that could" and thats a solid foundation to build on. I'll definitley consider tossing a fax though. Appreciate the help. Alot of bios on him just name his stats. nothing more then a paragraph or two.
