There is no reason to be positive about a team who has lost five of six games and hasn't scored an offensive touchdown in a month. Even if we beat the Rams, a loss to New England looms four days later.
We can turn around our entire season with two wins in five days. At this point, it appears unlikely, but we can always hope.
After watching how good Rams played last week, I've got serious doubts about this one. Some Rams posters said they're vulnerable to screens but we suck @ those kind of plays. Hopefully, D can put up more than 7 points & special teams can get turnover & Offense will have zero turnovers. Tons of media drama will enable us to see if this team really gives a damn & willing to rally behind Rex. If Jets win, then I'm seeing a score like 10-6 or 13-10. Low scoring & Jets D makes the Rams O looks pitiful like the Jets O.
Doesn't look good. Need to play good, something we haven't done in a while. Even if we do that, no guarantee we win. Haven't played 4 good quarters of football in all 3 phases on the game this season
The way things normally work out for this quarter back that we have, I'm actually expecting a good game out of him this week. He does just enough not to lose his job every week and every play. Except the last two weeks. Judging by past performances, im actually expecting a good game out of him. He makes 3 bad mistakes and usually follows those up with something good and the cycle continues.
Man am I fed up with this team. I can't listen to another press conference. Between the coach, owner and gm- finally the players. If I hear " we are working hard and getting better " one more time........... Out of anyone from the jets locker room. I mean, do these idiots know they are in the nfl? Do they realize we could give a shit if they are working harder and improving in practice when what we watch on tv is the complete opposite. Losers say " we are improving and that's what counts" that's what losers say when they dont win. We pay for wins, thats why Sanchez and the rest of the crew are making so much damn money. We don't pay them millions to " improve and get better". It makes me sick to hear this.
we just can't lose to the Rams, even at such a poor state, this team cannot lay down. Fully expect the Jets to win this but it really doesn't change anything.
I dont see jets going 3-7....if they do they may go to tebow on thanksgiving......or if they lose that game as well and go 3-8 than tebow will come out. We need this win big time not looking for tebow time to happen
3 safeties! not 2 field goals....rofl. You are so jaded. I completely understand why. Don't get me wrong. I just want remain a little more positive. I think that we see Tebow used much more effectively (more goal line - more short distance - more throwing to keep D's honest) this week and the offensive production goes up slightly. I expect about the same from Sanchez as we have been getting. I think the D will shut down St. Louis and I dare say that if we don't turn it over...we win 20-10 or something close to that. Gotta keep believing each week man...and limit being depressed to Mondays after each week and repeat process
