    if anyone is unsure of the Jets' record, have a listen to this. Mike T. said about 3,000 times that they're 3-6. That's about all you'll get from this interview...

    He never says anything of value in his media interviews. This shouldn't be a surprise.

    Personally, i think Mike went easy on him. He didn't push anything. I suppose he didn't want to get hung up on again lol

    I don't think he went easy on him at all. I started feeling uncomfortable.

    I think Mike knows Tanny is never gonna answer anything straight. No matter how direct is the question, Tanny will dance around give you nothing.

    Well Tanny's pretty much the only guy left in the organization he HAS a relationship with. Of course that won't help Francesa much when Tanny gets fired in the offseason but I think Mike did pressure him with the parts of the interview I saw, especially where Tanny tried to claim they were a play or two away in most of these games.

    Francesa's read of the Seattle game is all wrong. He makes it like the Jets got their doors blown off because of the final score. The Jets were right there most of that game and if Sanchez doesn't make that ridiculous throw on the pick, that game is different.

    But is Tannenbaum wrong in that, if Hill catches that pass at the 10 in the NE game, an easy catch, the Jets win that game. If Keller doesn't move on the 1, in the Seattle game, Tebow walks in and that game is far different. I don't think he was wrong concerning those two games. Even the Houston game.

    Mikey gave Mr.T a major butt-raping in that interview. If there is one person I can't take more than Francesa it's Mr.T. Tannenbaum has no clue. Of course this team can't compete in the NFL. He must go. We need a real football GM in there...not a "cap guy". Until the Jets put a team on the field with winning consistency like NE or Pittsburgh, we are a joke. Woody doesn't know a thing about football, but he'd better hire some people who do.

    The only reason they were right there for three quarters was because of Russel Wilson giving up seven points. Offensively we didn't score a point and defensively we weren't that great, particualrly in the second half. He also tried to make the case we were in the Miami game because of the two big plays we gave up, never mind the fact we couldn't score an offensive TD in that game either.

    I am buying my son the Tannenbaum doll for Christmas. When you pull the string it says one of these three things-

    "It's a process."

    "We have a lot of faith in the players."

    "We are going in the right direction."

    That's all loser talk. Hate these hypotheticals because they go in circles forever & always get twisted to favor one's bias. Tanny has the rep for talking forever without saying anything important, so it's what I'd expect from him.

    ===
    If Hill makes that catch .... Jets could've won ... or Brady & his O gets more aggressive when they get the ball back & puts up more points & Pats win by bigger margin ... or Pats kickoff returner feels the pressure to carry the team on his back for one play & he returns it for a TD.

    If Keller doesn't move ... Jets score a TD ... or Jets kick a FG & still lose because the Jet offense can't outscore the Jet defense.

    ===
    These hypothetical scenarios suck. If Jets were 6-3, we wouldn't wanna hear about how the team hypothetically should be 4-5. Hopefully, Woody doesn't buy into that crap when determining if his front office is worth keeping.

    We're all 3-6, and I have faith that we can overcome being under .500, but it will be a process

    As much as it makes me throw up in my mouth to say it I have to give Francessa his props. He nailed Tanny to the wall on his bullshit and let it be known that he sees right through the spin.

    If I close my eyes I can almost see the sweat pouring off Tanny's face and the dark stains on his shirt by his armpits.
    Totally pathetic.

    Especially loved how he attacked Tanny for bringing in Tebow and asking how he couldn't see how it was damaging to Mark.

    Another reason why Tannenbaum deserves to be fired and never work for an NFL team again. He's dishonest and frequently lies to the fans and the media. The Jets need a GM that knows football from the heart and will be honest to the fans.
